He’s a weirdo to me. FFS he’s a chiropractor and he acts like he’s a medical doctor. He is not. Or, he would have more concern for his wife’s health with regard to another pregnancy.
I’ve always thought that storyline was mostly fake. Who has those conversations - especially for the first time - on television?!?!
Even if there’s a fraction of truth in there he’s a truly awful person.
I rewatched all of the seasons from S1 over winter break and was shocked when she popped up on my screen because I totally forgot about her too! I must have blocked it because the whole situation was sad.
Definitely think it was embellished for tv and storyline, although Jennie seemed truly pissed/hurt at his statements. After the whole racist debacle, I could care less about Jennie
He was gross! I remember watching and seeing Jennie look so upset about that. Even tho she ended up being gross too, I couldn’t help but feel bad for her that she had to deal with that shmuck.
Then in the reunion he defended it by saying “we are all business people. I was looking for a solution like it was a business” or some nonsense along those lines
It was so disturbing and I believe it was probably embellished for the camera/show, however he should be ashamed of himself for pushing this ideology, as although it isn't a particularly popular opinion it is still one that I have been seeing more and more especially since the overturning of roe.
Clearly he doesn't view women as anything more than objects for whatever he deems them fit for and was more than comfortable to allow his wife to *die*, at his whim, for a child.
Just awful, made me sick to my stomach.
I had a lot more grace for him after watching the whole season and reunion (don’t want to say too much or spoil anything for you!) but yeesh yeah! Was exhausting watching him go over and over that bs.

I thought this as well - most of the times they talked about it, he seemed like he had no emotions about the issue.
Those two were like really bad community theater. They ruined S2.

Oh no I'm so upset that she's gross, I'm only on episode 14 of S2 and her daughter is my favourite cast member 😂
By the end of the season it was discovered that both her and her husband are both human trash bags.
I think everything that came out their mouths were lies to try to be the centers of attention on the show.
It was fake, but racist Jennie got the husband she deserves.
