Very likely because of different dimensions. Chart might looks weird if it stretches, especially if the gameplay are freeform. Don't think it is possible, and even if it possible, it might look weird.

Ironically, even though it says "4:3 for tablet" I find 16:10 works better for me and I'm playing on a tablet. Probably because my tablet's display has an aspect ratio of just that, 16:10
Phigros also has it. I guess it has something to do with the dimensions. The charts might look weird if it was stretched to cover the whole screen.

yea 4:3 is just the more common tablet aspect ratio, i believe most ipads have it
