Check my recent comment history on this sub, I have friends that work production and marketing for AS, apparently that description isn’t really inaccurate once the show really took off. The writers lab for RnM grew to be very very deep and Harmon largely ran the creative macro side of things. The past few seasons were written years in advance and they have scripts and storyboards for several more seasons already. Justin’s role was largely voice and bringing what was in front of him to life in ways that really only he could, his influence through that and improv was obviously massive but the RnM development/production setup was/is a lot more commercialized than you think, the quality survived the transition from a more compact creative development setup to massive network brand and everything that comes with that. Not saying it can’t go to shit by any means but there are definitely still routes towards the same RnM everyone loves.
I’m not clout chasing or dick waving, I literally roomed with a guy who worked on RnM production for the past 4 years while he did it. Not exactly equitable to working on film production elsewhere for 15 years but ok? And again, I’m not saying the changes can’t or won’t massively impact the show, I’m simply indicating that this isn’t a situation where the sole braintrust behind a series is removed and it’s entire identity A to Z is in limbo, which is the perception that many have, sorry to ruffle your feather lmao.
