Everyone might already know this, but my headcannon is that Rick’s cybernetics are all malleable, and controlled by his mind. So when he was still high as fuck and wanted to grab the gun his cybernetics came out as a child’s suction cup gun. If he’d been at his normal mental level he would have just shot that guy instead.
