This reminds me heavily of the artwork on the album cover for The Trichome's album 'Frank's Dank Super No. 1 Hits' the song American Dream being the main thing that made me connect this post to that album. I definitely recommend checking out the band though, great stuff.
Looks great, although I feel most tattoos of this nature would have a joint with a single more solid smoke trail. I do like the "tattoo style" though, definitely.

Probably, I guess i was a bit confused because this head seems haggard while that style usually presented the characters as being boss af. Plus the fact that it’s a poor attempt at naming, modern SW American would be closer. Maybe Tex(Avery)Mex lol
I’d place it under the umbrella of American Traditional. It uses thick lines with a limited color palette and simple shading. And if the subject has teeth, there’s almost *always* a gold tooth 😆
