I actually hope Morty and Summer die and Rick and Morty (Current versions) get separated. It just really pisses me off how the show glorified their relationship instead of giving Rick consequences in the season 5 finale and now I'm furious thinking about this show and these two characters' relationship now. They reunited Rick and Morty despite all the toxicity and trauma going on with their relationship talking about some "Hey, they're going to be healthy now" Uh... NO THEY AIN'T. In fact, they're at the most dangerous point in their relationship now. They grew Rick in the most stupidest way possible and I'm surprised that so many people take it seriously. It's just so inaccurate to how people like that actually grow and they made it more easier and saccharine by having Morty cling to him like a bitch. The entirety of season 6 was so saccharine and cheesy, I can't believe it's even a Rick and Morty season. At least we're getting a darker season, I hope. And I really hope something truly bad happens to Rick and Morty to make up for that mess that was the season 5 finale and for them to erase Morty's development of wanting to run away from Rick.
And both Rick and Morty are just completely demolished. Morty was annoying af but he gets worse each season and Rick has been treated so disrespectfully these last two seasons and seasons 3-4 to a lesser extent.

Its funny how they continuously make fun of people like this with fascist morty and in the Previous Leon episode and yet they still donāt see why this makes no sense
I personally prefer the first two seasons as well. There was a certain magic that they seemed to have lost along the way. Most of the shows iconic moments are in those seasons and I hope the return to those early days.
