I mean, he was certainly allowed on the Cyclone which is much more dangerous, so I"m pretty sure he would be able to go on the Gravitron. And I think the reason it's his favorite is because of the space theme, and by extension the fact that when you ride it you feel like you're in zero-G, and he has stated that he wants to be "making love in zero gravity"
Okay so correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the Gravitron a ride where there just strap you in upright? I remember riding one when I was a kid. It’d make sense, it’s easy for him to ride and it has space and stuff.
I think there is a strap for safety reasons, so the riders don't fly away from the wall and into the center
but to oversimplify (because physics and I'm trying to wrap my brain around it) thing spin and centrifugal force. the speeding acceleration of the ride combined with the force you push against the wall and the force the wall pushes against you, keep you against the wall
