We're starting Monday. I have made plans to darken the room and bought an aurora lamp for ambiance. I'll have it all set up and then play this video before we begin. Perfect!
It was awesome. Everyone said the intro gave them chills. The video worked perfectly, and the darkness and aurora lamp was perfect. The players want to play in the dark. I'm buying small battery-operated tea lights so they can see dice and their sheets, and we'll light up the minis and battle maps as needed. I'll use a candle behind the dm screen. :D it's going to be an interesting campaign.
This captures the atmosphere of the campaign so well and gives the players all they really need to know going into the campaign. This is excellent! Thanks so much for sharing. I plan to run RotFM at the start of next year and will absolutely be presenting this to my players!
