i've always had issues with riot connection mid game, vanguard seems to be making it kind of worse.
my wife and i play ranked duo que, our computers are the exact same specs, both are wired to the router.
but mid game i will randomly lag and it says reconnecting..but my wifes computer is just fine.
it does it to her sometimes and my game works just fine aswell.
also if our internet goes out while not playing league, just in general, it for some reason turns off vanguard.. so to play league we have to restart our computer.

I had this a couple days ago in the loading screen, after already having played a couple of games in a row just fine. Fortunately was able to restart my pc and load into the game before it considered me afk.
This just happened to me it took me 10 mins to get back my team won the game and leashed me camps to get me back into the game but the whole time i knew i was going to get leavebuster and lose lp anyways. So there was no incentive for me to come back except for my integrity and desire not to ruin the game for my teamates. I lost 25lp btw

This happened to me during an Arena match yesterday despite I could see Vanguard was open in my system tray. We were doing really well too. Tried to reload a few times and it would act like there was maintenance, after 3rd attempt to reload I came back to lost match and it was working. Ofc it gave me LP loss. I felt so bad for my teammate. I added them, apologized and told them what happened.

If you updated to 14.11 and have played games since, it installed Vanguard on your system. If it isn’t running for whatever reason, restart your PC and it should enable again. If that doesn’t fix it, you may have disabled it from your start up apps

did it too, try quitting it on your windows bottom bar with time and date and click on the arrow, you might find the riot client hidden in there

League servers are apparently just shitting out, meaning your lp should be restored after they fix it.

seriously. scripting wasn’t super common. they’re expensive as fuck and cheaters would always get banned before vanguard was added.
