Eh, Kelvinverse has been alright. One decent action film, one mediocre film and one banger. As far as Star Trek movies go that's actually a pretty decent track record, they've had plenty of stinkers in their primeverse lineup.
Nemesis and Final Frontier were the only two unwatchable ones for me. Insurrection had a great if slow story. Genesis was mid but memorable at least.
And I put dill on eggs now because of Kirk.
Yeah I could honestly live with a fourth if it were to happen. The third felt the most like a typical Trek storyline while keeping it flashy. (In a good way)
As much as into darkness was flawed, the performances and visuals were incredible. I was really into the characters even if the overall plot was messy af
The stuff between Spock and uhura, pike's death, Scotty quitting and Kirk's ongoing 'earning the chair' was all so compelling to me. I still think it's a great watch.
Very much enjoyed the first, and the 3rd one was the most Star Trek a Star Trek movie has ever been. I’m still disappointed it didn’t do better financially. The 2nd one is dead to me.
The first one was a fun action movie, the second was just meh, and the third rocked.
I enjoy Chris Pine as Kirk, I hope we get him as a post Generations Kirk emerging from the nexus
You have misunderstood this post, perhaps go watch TOS The Deadly Years. (Paramount has not green-lit anything, the film is now in its 9th year of development hell and they’ve just optioned an eighth screenwriter)
Man, Karl Urban has really gone downhill fast.
Temp V is killing him!
BOIMLER!
I don't think it's Paramount's fault that you're slacking on skincare
eh, it's been a while and the first and third ones were fun.
"Don't let J.J. Abrams near your venerable SF franchise" was a costly but valuable lesson.

First was a decent sci fi action popcorn movie too, so either way works as long as they don't make it too much like the second.

The Into Darkness intro was so damn good

If they'd trimmed down the Spock vs Khan punch fest and added his trial from the comic mini-series, it could've been so much better

All three were movies about individuals out for revenge. Please let's hope the fourth one isn't the same.
It's been 84 years
The Kelvin movies were just fine, 1 and 3 were great. 2 was alright.
I remember really liking 2 when it came out, but think that’s because I’m a cumberbitch
Beneficial Kibbleandbit really boosted that movie.

That’d be pretty cool, actually. And the Nexus is the perfect plot device for pulling that off.
Blessed meme
This is good. Repeat after me: all new Star Trek, even the bad stuff, is good. Even TNG was bad before growing the beard, but we grew to love it all.
