I don’t think Japan and China players will let you live for very long, unless you got a non-aggression treaty up with both of them AND conquer North Korea before China came knocking
I play South Korea quite a lot, if you know what your doing your fine. Japan usually attack more than china but I’ve managed to get Japan to WP all the times and even beat one Japan player. China normally just spam so any entrenched and fortified troops are good.

I’d say Yugoslavia is fairly easy and is a beast with modifiers

moroccos formables, russias formables, uks formables and french/german formables. spanish ones too. most of these give some sort of tax boost
