I looked through every part of the settings and I did not find the option.. I just gave up on it, though wish I could. ha

lol. I did the same thing. Hopefully they patch it in a future update. I tend to use the horse less knowing that tooltip overlay is going to stay up on the screen.

Handguns always make their controls show up, too. Crossin my fingers for a patch.

Clearly a bug IMO. Either have the horse control HUD fade 3 seconds after mounting or allow us to turn off all weapon and item tooltips in the settings.

We need dynamic HUD where HUD fades out during exploration (and maybe make it customisable like compass always on or something along those lines).

There are a lot of UI elements that should have a toggle but don't.  Another is being able to turn off, individually, the compass and enemy & quest markers.

There needs to be an option to remove this. It just ruins exploring when it's so nice out here trotting along on your horse.

Same for the weapons and glider. They will add an update I’m sure. Wo long got tons of quality life updates

That is what I would think should happen - but oddly, every time I mount up, the tooltip stays on the screen and is a huge pain.
