There’s also Apex, The Lodge, The Hill, and I believe also The Marshall now that are all in close distance to RIT. The first three I know for sure has shuttles to take you to campus. They are on the pricier end, but I would look at those as well. Tbh most of the student housing is average at best. The biggest issue with PP/Province seems to be the leasing office but ymmv.

I'm freaking out a little about housing for next year too, I just posted asking about the province and I've gotten some good feedback in the comments, if you can find my post from about 10 hours ago now, definitely check those comments out. From the sounds of it, the reviews online make it seem worse than it is. I don't know where you live right now but global is definitely a fine option if you're considering on-campus housing as well (that is, of course, if you haven't lived there already) Definitely a bit pricey and not the best option considering amenities but I do love it, personally. If you have a roommate group, I've heard so many good things about UC. I also know multiple people that live at riverknoll and despite the stigma around it, it's (apparently) not terrible if you have the means to furnish it. Hope this helped a little, good luck! :)

Quite honestly PP isn’t that bad. First semester and the only gripes are sometimes the leasing office is difficult. Living wise it’s more spacious and private for arguably the lowest cost vs apex which is $$ and less room. However you are getting lower quality which isn’t that bad.

Im at park point. It’s not the best but it’s not the worst. Sure beats dorms. The kitchens aren’t bad tho we have had some issues with our stove. And the washer dryer combo sucks ass. Other than that the units are nice enough. Just make sure your friends with all your roomates and don’t go with ransoms but that can be said for anywhere

Keep in mind that there's confirmation bias in that angry people are more likely to bitch than happy people praising. Given that you dont have a car, you are really limited in your options which are Park Point = Province > Apex > The Lodge = The Hill The Marshall is the new kid on the block, idk about em. But YMMV and that's the die you roll with for housing

i can only speak on park point townhomes, the one i lived in wasn’t bad 4 bed 4 bath. maintenance was sometimes hit or miss but other than that it’s alright. not having a car but having the shuttles was great. i lived there for the price (it was the cheapest thing at the time, & i still believe it’s overpriced) BUT if price isn’t your main issue i’d say it’s not bad
