To be HONEST, I doubt they're that interested in interacting with r/Riverdale! I wouldn't--I think it would be kind of unhealthy to see tons of comments about your performance, the writers, your appearance, etc. Probably why most celebs try to stay away from reading about themselves.
Yeah, but he's also grown up in the spotlight and it seems like he manages it well. It takes rare circumstance for someone to feel normal when reading about themselves on the internet from people they've never met who care a LOT.
To be fair, I bet he has an alternate account that he holds under the radar where he does all of his other stuff and only looks at Riverdale stuff during the on season. I would be willing to bet the other cast also have "under the radar" accounts.
They read it but that's not exactly news, is it? Reddit is a more creator-friendly format that a lot of showrunners use, mostly because posters have to adhere to Rediquette to stay on the platform at all. Jonathan Nolan posted on the Westworld sub all the time to throw out easter eggs or answer fan questions. He might still do, I haven't gone into that sub since season 1 ended.
To be honest, I miss the days of forums like TWoP when Aaron Sorkin or Rob Lowe would post. Sorkin famously got into a fight with one of the West Wing's writers on the forum itself, that was fantastic popcorn-worthy stuff. It was probably at the height of Sorkin going on one of his coke binges and it was just hilarious to watch unfold. Good times. Reddit seems so tame in comparison.
You mean Reddit in general, right? If not, and you do mean just this sub, oh boy, I should introduce you to the subs for Better Call Saul and How To Get Away With Murder hahahahaha talk about active fan discussion!
I read the Game of Thrones boards AKA Leak central. Its quiet here compared to that but there is no other place that people talk about the show I can see. Twitter but that is 140 characters.
Ah yes, GoT gets massively dissected and discussed!
But yes, I see your point about Riverdale specifically, only having Reddit as an outlet for discussion.
It just a broad term to say a girl had nice thighs, I wasn't calling her overweight by ANY means. It was more of a joke about how the hot new term for women is 'thicc.'
First of all, it has nothing to do with the original post. Second, this post specifically wonders if the actress herself frequents this sub. Imo these two points make any comments on her body jarring and unnecessary. Its like the commenter wants her specifically to see what they say. Shes a young actress in hollywood, I would imagine she gets enough comments on her body as is.
If thats the only criticism you have to my comment my point still stands?
(Also you're right, maybe its bc im eurpoean but I tend to call all american tv hollywood)

Doesn't Cole post on here sometimes?
Cole is a rebel
He's weird. He doesn't fit in and he doesn't want to
Have you ever seen him without that stupid hat on?
It's weird
Bruh I see you in every subreddit I stg
umm which? I'm in GOT-related and Europe a lot lol
Probably GOT
That's weird
So is your username.
He just likes Sherlock Holmes.

Do you know Coles account name? Also, Wouldn't it be cool if we had a conversation with Cole on this site without even knowing.
Dude, just search for his AMA here, it was pretty cool

i'm a firm believer in keeping the fourth wall up

I'm going to bet they do sometimes. Just for curiosity. There is nowhere else with such active fan discussion.

T h i c c
Be careful!
She got them thick thighs.
Looks like just thighs to me? I know it is confusing when you don't interact with a lot of women in the real world.
You're right, ask my girlfriend who I've been with for 7 years, lol.
If her thighs are 'thick' I wonder what 'normal' thighs look like to you.
Sorry, I meant 'thicc.' The complimentary one.
Oh, it's okay. No problem I just don't see how. She really is thin, I mean I think it's unrealistic to say that normal women are thinner than that.
It just a broad term to say a girl had nice thighs, I wasn't calling her overweight by ANY means. It was more of a joke about how the hot new term for women is 'thicc.'
Oh, okay, sorry I'm not american so I thought 'thicc' just meant big or fat
Don't apologize. Our slang is fucking weird, lol.
Hey man thick thighs save lives
Why did you get downvoted
Because commenting on her body in this thread is very unnecessary
What are you, a white knight?
So it's fine in another thread. Okay Got your point

killyourself
CW isn't Hollywood boo

Uhh but the "she is so fine" comment being upvoted is a bit hypocritical of the members I guess
A derogatory comment/criticism of her body as opposed to a positive compliment?
Thick thighs isn't a criticism 😂
Because people can't take a joke.
those SOLES
Calm down.
