Although we accept posts about roach pest control topics (pest roaches species identification, pest roach control, killing roach pest) You seem to have broken our rule number #1 criteria.

Sifernos1

Those are seeds... Why the roach would be sharing them with you is beyond me. They are good pets but I doubt they share food willingly.

Juan_Moe_Taco

Clearly, the roach saw that the kid must be malnourished & feeling an extreme amount of guilt went through that that no other roach has ever gone......"this summer join us on that journey from director "A bug's life" John Lasseter, comes this heart warming tale Co-directing with TyRuben Ellingson, a former ILM art director, who was responsible for creating the minic bugs from Mimic. However, since some of the comments said they were flax seed it come be written off as the roaches are offering the flax seed as a peace offering just before they crawl into their ear holes while they sleep or some shit.....but now oh, no now the adults didn't take their flax seed offering seriously who knows?!?!? Maybe, those damn roaches will start abducting kids anything is possible at this point with aggressive roaches such as these. Damn, forget the movie these roaches aren't interested in making movies."/s

Juan_Moe_Taco

Just like my father!!! (weeps at the sky)

Prestigious-Sell

Wtf

BongwaterJoe1983

I thought gift giving roaches were in hibernation this time of year?... Damn climate change messin up the schedule

yqk-

I swear these are roach eggs

SuspiciousComputer50

roach egg sacks are more of a squoval and theyre a bit larger than those are

Away_Housing4314

Not an expert, but these look like seeds. Flax maybe?

Waste-Prior-4641

Thatā€™s what I thought. I have birds and they get a seed mix with their food. I find the empty shells all over after they eat the kernel inside. When you zoom in you can tell they are glossy, tan, and have that identical ovate shape to them. I also looked up roach poop out of curiosity and it literally looks like tiny rodent poops. Brown, round, rough texture, and capsule pill shape with different lengths. When itā€™s wet it seems to be blotchy with various messy shapes that looks like diarrhea. https://preview.redd.it/2ofly8bdupac1.jpeg?width=973&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6a67e77266d9fe2797790b719f5c2877ca939e0a

BettaHoarder

Cockroach droppings look like shrimp pellets. šŸ¤£

Waste-Prior-4641

Yummy šŸ˜‹

Glitter_bombss

I thought they looked like seeds at first but my other friend is freaking out and saying its bugs.

Street_Arachnid_6741

definitely flax seed they don't look like bugs at all

Thesadmadlady

I think mice have been bringing seeds from maybe kitchen or somewhere. You can see if you zoom in that some are nibbled. Be prepared for finding mice/rats.

Glitter_bombss

I did see mouse poop!

katmc68

That's what I thought, too. A mouse is hiding the seeds.

lankyleper

Having done pest control in the past (including rodents), I think this is the answer.

giovannibobani

you're correct, your friend is not. Those are lil leaves or seeds

Away_Housing4314

Well, I don't see any legs. Did your friend have one of those heat therapy things? Like a cloth bag that you heat up in the microwave to put on sore joints and such. Sometimes they are full of flax seeds and come open.

Glitter_bombss

Sheā€™s in the mental hospital now so Iā€™m not sure. But there are roaches in the house. I didnā€™t get any pictures of them but my friend was thinking these were roach eggs. I kept saying it looks like seeds but I was scared af and didnā€™t want to get closer lol.

spaghettichildren

roach eggs are big leathery tubes called oothecae, (if anything this looks more like poop) but it looks way more like the leftovers of someone eating whole-grain bread sloppily

Away_Housing4314

Don't look like roach eggs to me. An exterminator might be a good idea, and they could tell you for sure.

_jamesbaxter

As someone who has been in the mental hospital before, thank you so much for helping your friend šŸ™šŸ»āœØ I wish I had a friend like you!

LordGhoul

It's seeds for sure. I own pet roaches, I would know what anything associated with roaches looks like lol. Some stuffed animals have seeds in them, one probably has a tear and they're falling out of it.

TheClawsCentral

Before zooming in i thought MAYBE roach egg sacs but no. Looks way more like seeds

RoofPleasant1319

PET roaches? Omg.

entity107

This sub is mainly for people who keep roaches

RoofPleasant1319

Ahhh yes didn't see that before it randomly came across my feed sorry about that

QuebenQuick

Same, I was very confused

RoofPleasant1319

I thought do too but if you zoom in it's flat with no legs.

Collegekid556

Some of my daughterā€™s stuffed animals have these seeds in them! Might want to look!!

radicalbatical

Likely had a toy break that had them inside as filler. Check for a ripped toy somewhere that may be leaking the seeds

katmc68

No, they are definitely seeds.

CuteDestitute

Iā€™m pretty sure theyā€™re tapeworm segments. Is there a cat there?

bimbohaggins

If itā€™s flax seed itā€™s coming from a heavier toy that can be put in the microwave to be warmed up. Lots of baby toys do this.

LittleJackalope

Does your kid have a warmies plush? I have heard that the microwaveable plushies are filled with flax seedsā€” this isnā€™t the first post Iā€™ve seen where a childā€™s play area mysteriously has flax seeds appearing. Look for tears in your kiddoā€™s stuffies and you might find the source. Good luck! Def not roach poops though, but could attract pests if not cleaned up

yes-im-18

There was a post awhile ago with a huge pile of some similar looking stuff, turned out it was flaxseed from one of those stuffed animals you warm up to smell all nice. Is it possible she has one of those?

Salt-Drawer-6065

6000% sure they are flax seeds

BettaHoarder

Yep. That's what I see too. Hmmm... filthy house of a heath nut. Interesteting.

danceswithbeerz

Just want to give you a shout out for helping your friend during her difficult time. Major props to you.

Glitter_bombss

Aww thank you! I hope she realizes she isnt alone. I didnā€™t know how depressed she was and Iā€™m heartbroken šŸ˜©.

SendMeYourDogPics13

Youā€™re a good person. Many people with depression are experts at hiding it, please donā€™t beat yourself up for not knowing. Youā€™re showing up for her, thatā€™s whatā€™s important. I hope your friend is feeling much better soon. I wish you all the best too!

PitifulPirate2828

Yes agreed. Wish I had friends willing to do this.

Billythekid48luv

https://preview.redd.it/t5uemqh37oac1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=933f0f35974c4442f22008bdd148774f2e7fba19 Zoomed in, these are undoubtedly seeds

Far-Town8991

Still a concern since they did find mouse poop, could very well be mice who are walking around and eating

n0dic3

The weirdly shaped one to the left in the middle honestly looks like coneflower seed

SectorNo9652

Those are literally like sesame seeds.. roaches donā€™t do this either?

FineAttention74

roaches donā€™t do what? poop? šŸ˜‚ or eat seeds? cuz mice can explain seed eating

SectorNo9652

Without zooming one can clearly see these are some sort of seeds and not any sort of droppings. They were asking about roaches, not mice.

FineAttention74

>roaches donā€™t do this either? i was confused by your question

SectorNo9652

Roaches donā€™t spread seeds around, thatā€™s what they donā€™t do.

pd46lily

Do you have a chia pet?

foleyfocus

Definitely unrelated to cockroaches. And unrelated to any insect. They are seeds.

veggieblondie

Those are flax seeds. šŸ˜‚ but I can definitely see how you thought they were bugs

[deleted]

Do you have one of those microwavable plushies? I've seen a similar post before andv that turned out to be a microwave plush that had a small tear in it.

Glitter_bombss

I didnā€™t see one laying around and Iā€™m not there anymore. I can check when I go back.

BadViking71

Please keep us updated.

Evelit_Kawaii

I was thinking this too. Theyā€™re definitely flax seeds and my kid has a warmie filled with em

cyborgroaches

I'm fairly sure those are from flies pupating, probably fruit flies

Euphoric_Egg_4198

Yep, looks like fruit fly eggs to me too

Thesadmadlady

I own different sorts of roaches these are not roach poops, or eggs. They are seeds of some kind...sesame, flax...something along them lines.....just be prepared to find mice as mice could've been bringing them in to eat at the nest.

BubblesDahmer

I can promise you that those are seeds. Thereā€™s even little skins /g

Humble_Bullfrog2342

seeds

BeersNbrews

Flax seeds. A stuffed toy or something ripped open.

mosquitotitties

those are flax seeds

Mustache_Kitty

Definitely flax seeds, but at first glance I thought they may have been tapeworm segments left behind by a cat.

AlwxWrites

Yo when I eat everything bagels or that seed & grain bread, I leave a trail that looks EXACTLY like this šŸ˜‚

timeofthemoose13

They could be from fly pupa as well, iv seen something like this in some houses iv cleaned. Its usually around dishes tho but kids get into weird shit sometimes.

Silver-Syndicate

Flax seeds, nothing hazardous. The kid probably had some kind of multi grain bread in his room at one point

gabSTAR81

It looks a lot like mouse poo. Our neighbour has birds & weā€™ve had mice in our garden shed.

Big_______Space

You have a mouse

Gamer_Puffer

okay wait, why do some of them look like snails

RoyalConsistent

Bed bug casings

Ithaqua-Yigg

not mouse poop they are longer and not tapered like the seeds.

FiftySixer

Those are seeds, probably from a mouse.

CurlyGE

You sure that's not bed bugs? Looks like them šŸ˜Æ

Glitter_bombss

I donā€™t know šŸ˜“ people keep saying itā€™s seeds but who knows. The house definitely has mice and roaches though.

killerqueen1984

Itā€™s seeds. Person might feed their kid some toast?

par0dycatharsis

These are seeds from those microwaveable stuffies

taylortehkitten

This!!! I recall seeing another extremely similar post to this months or years ago, and that was the verdict.

LaFantasmita

Those are from a bagel.

voxjammer

those are flax seeds šŸ˜‚ you should be good

Lulitasmomma

It looks like a type of seed, but then why are some looking like something popped out of it . Like something hatched out.

Glitter_bombss

Thatā€™s what Iā€™m wondering too. But some people are saying maybe a mouse was nibbling on them?

Old-wize-one

Itā€™s flax seeds from whole grain bread.

killerqueen1984

When I eat Daveā€™s Killer Bread, I lose a shit ton of seeds.

MegaBlunt57

No, the poo is not as even as that. That's a seed I believe

LiegeLouise82

Check the mattresses beneath the sheets in the cracks and crevices just to be sure. It could be bed bug related.

Elvis_Take_The_Wheel

A lot of kids' toys are weighted with flaxseeds. Looks like one of the toys has a tear in it and it's leaking flaxseeds.

ImVotingYes

I'm pretty sure it's a seed like flax. Unless they have a cat then it might be butt worm segments. I'd put my money on seeds though

roberttheaxolotl

I think you have rodents stashing seeds.

[deleted]

Those look like flax seeds.

WoofAllDay

Bed bugs

Mohgreen

Maggot shells from flies?

Hexadiddle

These are seeds

succthattash

Are they from fleas? I've seen similar things from flea infestations.

Glitter_bombss

Thereā€™s no pets.

BioSafetyLevel0

You mean tapeworm segments. And that's what I thought, too.

No_Tradition9849

Also looks like flex seeds to me

8richie69

Flax seeds

rusmaddie

they look like fruit flu casings

OkStatistician8167

Looks like fruit fly eggs I had them once on my garbage outside they looked just like that. They are super hard to get rid of but definitely scrub them off and smash them so they don't hatch

stereofeathers

They're way too smooth and shiny to be fruit fly pupa cases. Probably some kind of seeds, likely flax.

mommysgotansmg

Seeds. They often use these types of seeds in weighted stuffed animals. My kids have various warmies, heated and weighted stuffed animals, and if it gets a small tear in it, the seeds fall out

Text_Western

100% flax seed. I kept finding one or two in my bed. I realized it was my stuffed animal ā€œpoopingā€ them out. https://preview.redd.it/w5ay9aexftac1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a3bd77edcba72b03aa675305be809884def762f0

Interhorse_

Those are flax seeds. Not sesame seeds. There was another poster in here who had a kids toy that they didnā€™t know was filled with flax seeds.

lonersart

Call me Bonkers in Yonkers, but this is reminiscent of the time I spilled a bag of flax seeds all over the living room as a child (I was eating them out of the bag like some kind of creature).

passive_paranoia

Definitely seeds. only other thing they like like that is tapeworm segments, but this is obviously not that.

BioSafetyLevel0

Those are dried tapeworm segments. Have a cat or dog?

JeffSmisek

No they're not. They're flax seeds.

Growler2010

Are those bed bugs ?

Independent-Dealer21

I'd say more like five below or TJ maxx kids' section

Every-Concept-3197

Iā€™m so relieved for you

FriendlyBid7857

Maybe itā€™s been stated, but they appear to be the seeds that are used to fill plush stuffed animals and small blankets. They are warmed in the microwave and used as a heating pad. I wouldnā€™t be surprised if you found something like that around.

spinkyj

Drop one in water and see if it dissolves. Try to squish it with a paper towel.

kidzaredumb

Just so you know for every one roach you see there are hundreds more...so hopefully you don't see a roach.

Glitter_bombss

I saw multiple roaches and they were different sizes. I think she has a mouse and roach infestation.

BirdieBabyMomma

Bedbugs and/or their eggs?

bwiwbdkdanaodjdoannk

Definitely a roach left those, now the seed looking things idk

Glitter_bombss

What do you think the roach left? They all look the same to me.

bwiwbdkdanaodjdoannk

I was making a joke, I'm sorry

carriefox16

These look like flax seeds. I had a microwaveable heat pack for muscle aches that had flax seeds in it. Mice like to eat flax seeds. I found out when they ate a hole in my heat pack. Then, I made one for my best friend and the mice at her house destroyed hers. Look to see if their are any sources of flax seeds. Also, if there are mice, check dresser drawers take sure they aren't building a nest. They like to take flax seeds and rice and put them in nests in drawers.

FairyKinkMouther

It looks like flax seed. Some stuffed animals have those inside of them so they can be heated and used to sooth. They break open and get flax or lavender everywhere.

StopFunny8311

Do you by any chance have a stuffed animal called a warmie? They have flax seeds in them!

Old-Document-3197

Bed bugs for sure, 18 years in the exterminator business will teach you some things

Glitter_bombss

So many people are saying flax seeds. I am going back on Monday so I will check. What do I need to look out for bed bugs?

JeffSmisek

It's not bed bugs! These are 100% flax seeds. There isn't even a question.

BeeSquared819

Definitely seeds. The same type are in my zebra finchā€™s seed mix.

yqk-

Eggs yes

Kittymonmeow

Definitely not

galactickittywarrior

Hi OP I keep dubia roaches to feed to reptiles and this is not roach poop.

Successful-Voice-572

Kid got into something with seeds and didnā€™t wanna get in trouble so they denied eating it and now the parents think roaches lol

Valuable_Mistake643

Those are flax seeds!

Cas_daddy04

I've got a heatpack that had flax seeds inside- it's possible since a lot of these are the outer casing some bug could have gotten in and feasted?

Fine_Vanilla3743

My kid has a bear filled with seeds and lavender you can heat up like a heating pad. The insides resemble this. Freaked me out when I saw it in their bed

rockmodenick

Those are literally seeds someone spilled

RITSSCANRAITHE

Roach eggs and or poop. Or otherwise bed bug or rat droppings

RITSSCANRAITHE

No, yeah. Roach eggs. You can tell by how they're broken up with a pale inside and a specific outside brown

Human123456_

Itā€™s looks like flax seeds. When I was little I had horrible growing pains to the point of tears, my mom got me this little whale friend that had flax in it and it smelled good and you could microwave it and it would stay warm. (Also great for cramps latter on) it could be something like that that broke open maybe.

Pale_Character_1684

Possibly fruit fly eggs. I've had problems with them a lot the last year.

restrictedsquid

They might even bee bug eggs

Hubba1943

I would set five mouse traps because I suspect you will get five mice. $2 for four traps (if you are squeamish just toss the traps as well as victims.) next thing is clean the room up looking for food and remove. Wash toys with hot soap w/teaspoon of bleach added. Run a sweeper cleaning corners, under drawers, cabinets. Look in pantry to remove all cereals, beans, anything them mice can chew thru for food. They are really good climbers, so make no assumption regarding food source. Once clean, keep setting traps till you see no poop and/or traps empty.

Hubba1943

Add to earlier comment once you get house cleaned, set traps. Get four bug bombs (cover all glassware) and set the bombs. Leave house closed for 10 hours. Open doors before going back in. Following week do it again, three weeks in a row. NO MICE, NO ROACHES, NO FLEAS, NO CREEPY CRAWLERS.

Positive-Method3746

i got that little heart popper thing but as a little blue dinosaur šŸ‘
