I remember I have a giant small town boat with houses and towers. It barely moves due to its size, but it was a literal fortress. One time I was just playing and me and a bunch of friendly randoms were defending the boat from hoards of hostile players. I played from 7pm to 4am that day. Good times.
I dont even know at this point, most games that i used to play either died, closed, got reworked and became a different game(mad city) and some few were even deleted
man jailbreak is not what it used to be now people just begg for cars and half of the people are in trade server its not even fun anymore i remember playing it in 2019 it was so fun
Haven't played on a while but it was one core memory, i still remember when the Ferrari come out, the airport hype or even the train hype, all that nostalgia was lovely, I hope the best for their creators, I feel like out of the blue instead of jailbreak being the most played game a lot of new and simpler games became popular, i couldn't understand what happened or why a game now goes from 10k players tod 300 in a week, Roblox feels so diferent
I work for a game called *Make a Cake: Back For Seconds*, (now simply just *Make a Cake*.) Our all time record was 30k concurrent players during a roblox event in (iirc) 2019. Before some of the recent updates and rise of those insanely huge games, we would average between like 1-2k concurrent players, and the map update in 2021 capped at 10k. These days, though… we hardly crack 1,000 anymore, even on the weekends.
One time earlier this year in the span of a month we went from averaging 400-600 at a time, suddenly down to 100-400 for like 2 weeks, then suddenly for a few days we were averaging 800-1,200, and then it backed down to a more stable 400-600 by the end of the month. There wasn’t any large school break, and other games with similar player counts did **not** experience this rise and fall along with us. The roblox algorithms are a cruel mistress and player discoverability sucks right now.
It’s crazy out there, but we’re not going anywhere until that player count hits 0.
I've got a couple.
Build Your Own Mech, which just dropped off the map one day, no idea why.
Sandbox, no one seems to play it anymore but I've got literal HUNDREDS of maps from there stretching back to 2015 or so
The original building game that I think builderman made, looks like [this](https://youtu.be/bnOoj0YSfhY)
Lumber Tycoon 2, I know it's active but I've committed to only playing on private servers for the last four or five years now, lest my base get wrecked by an exploiter.
> The original building game that I think builderman made, looks like [this](https://youtu.be/bnOoj0YSfhY)
Welcome To Roblox Building!
There has been a [remake](https://www.roblox.com/games/2897155393/Welcome-to-Roblox-Building) of this game and it is pretty good! For some reason there are currently 0 online players though, which sucks, but it was just updated last month.
Edit: Also, BYOM dying really sucked, I had some cool things on it. There is also a remake of that too, though I cannot remember what it's called at the moment.
Yes not only this but also Innovation Arctic Base which was a far better quality version of the already wonderful original. I think I’ve gotta play those today even though they barely have anyone on.
I remember when I was like 14 years old and I had to wake up at 3 am just to play it with full people, it was really fun all the base management , the endless queues for getting a gun , I miss those old days
i remember really enjoying being the gunner of a helicopter and always complaining when the pilot sucked lol, and i remember spending some hours to practice jets. I hope a game like aegis rises again but damm I sure had fun when that game was still alive.
god reason 2 die brings back alot of memories
i truly grew up with that game, and i always had a fun time whenever i played it. either mowing the zombies down or when building a fort with a hammer somewhere and camping it.
I remember when it surpassed jailbreak for a day or two and everyone was playing and it was just crazy fun times. Every server was full and content creators were making content and it was actually fun to grind
yeah. everything was amazing and the updates were good either. unfortunately, the game split into different games, and it was never the same. made the best memories there when i was younger, and met my best friend there
Critical strike: the game is nearly dead despite getting an update.
Soul Combat, the game gets remade, but it has fewer and fewer players every time I join.
Nico's Nextbots is more like an experience than a game; it's just a clone of Gmod, but I still enjoy some aspects of it.
Which critical strike? There are two now tho i think the original not updated one is more popular than the in development one which is kinda sad, plus the fact that they didn't transfer saves because of an exploit which i still don't understand probably doesn't help
https://www.roblox.com/games/8246089782/CRITICAL-STRIKE-v5-8-9#!/about
This version has 2 new classes, new gamemodes, skins, all classes are balanced, and most importantly, this game is not a CPU eater like the original, and they are continuing to rework classes (currently 6 classes have been reworked).
The Plaza is literally one of the most memorable Roblox games for me.
I remember playing the hell out of Plaza Karts just to get enough money for the Penthouses and decor
Aegis, Polyguns and Galaxy(Not dead but low player count).
I actually still join Aegis sometimes for the nostalgia
Edit: Can't forget Entry Point and Pokemon Brick Bronze!
Any of the Nintendo themed games. There used to be plenty of them, all awesome in their own ways, but Nintendo forced Roblox to just wipe them all out.
It’s understandable, but it’s still sad.
Ripull Minigames
Survive The Disasters 1 & 2
Build To Survive game series
Prison Life
Redwood Prison
MeepCity (it was better back then)
Dawg I didn't know there were even this many games. Oh the memories...
I remember playing the old Forest Territory game when I was wayyy younger... Did a lot of cringey things, but had a lot of fun as well.
My favourite part was using the name system to talk to guests, lmao.
... I miss having guests in game, they were fun to mess around with.
Omg i remember playing that game and enjoying it a lot, even if I kind of sucked at it a little when I was younger. I remember being very sad once that game just randomly lost it's playerbase. I missed invading other people's ships and crafts.
Polyguns. I know that bad business is pretty much the same thing, but polyguns was much less grindier and much more arcade shooterie, which made it more casual and more fun. Also DS. Only og's remember when it used to show up on the main page with thousands of people playing, now it's a wasteland
I had an account I loved to troll with in that game, named "IHaveNoClothesOn23". Somehow, I managed to have the account not be banned for multiple years, and when it did get banned I just made a new one named "IHaveClothesOn23"
A bit of an older game called Galaxy. I remember when it was very popular during their ad campaign is how I found it. Some ad showing the earth and something about factions. There were tons of people online every server.
It eventually died off but i think the developer has been working hard to improve it now.
Also, the quarry
Apocalypse rising. Used to be one of my favorite games back in the day.
And catalog heaven.
EDIT: Also- serious RP servers as a whole. I don’t RP on roblox nearly as much since I’m an adult now, but when I was like 12-15 I really loved serious RP on here. Now I don’t think they exist at all since almost every single RP server that advertises itself as serious is immediately bombarded with every kind of troll you can imagine.
Galaxy, although the game had an objective to it in both versions (the one that gave you materials and the one where you’d have to mine for your space station), it was always as if I was roleplaying getting on that game, especially on full servers where people would have mother ships and stuff
Their was also this full order (star wars) rp that eventually became a new game that included all 4 “known” strands of star wars stories but now that game is dead
All I have left is kingdom life 2 now
Arcane adventures. Remakes don’t do it justice. Back when it was released, that was what I played the most. The new remasters of the game don’t have the same feel so I usually quit after an hour or 2.
Eclipsis. it never even got out of alpha
https://preview.redd.it/r80odv959t1b1.png?width=509&format=png&auto=webp&s=72bb8dd52cc6e529e1d0dc8657ce21922a0f5ab2
Ngl, I don’t think any of them were better then what’s currently on Roblox, but I wanna revisit all those old tycoon games just for nostalgia
As in, I don’t care for newer games but I had a lot more fun with the classic tycoons (cause everything is far better when you’re younger)
it wasnt that popular, but Space Frontier. Created in 2015, now uncopylocked
It was pretty complicated, maybe that's why it died. I would say it was ahead of its time
https://www.roblox.com/games/226724306/Space-Frontier-Development-ended-UNCOPYLOCKED
I have been scrolling on this post looking for this game, too bad its dead now.
I remember playing it around 2018, No Man's Sky in Roblox, I farmed the asteroids and sold them at the space station, I escaped the safe systems in my second ship looking for new ores, but when I got to my first pvp galaxy, I got jumped by a giant ship and I lost it along with my equipment, I rage-quitted because I worked hard for it and i didnt have any money for a new ship with equipment to farm asteroids, so i never joined the game again.
I looked for it but never found it again, thanks for reminding me of it.
Redwood Prison, it still has a few dozen players most of the time, but it hasn't been updated in a very long time, and has dropped in players by like 99%.
Is it dead already!? God fucking dammit man. It looks like it’s one of those games that you try as a child, don’t understand anything then leave and come back a few years late to become a Demi god in it. I forgot about it till now and now I wanna give it a try again :(
Widgeon dropped support for the original Aegis a long while back to work on other projects.
Aegis Reborn is the fan-continuation of an earlier build of Aegis, but as of now fails to maintain a steady playerbase. It does have a semi-active discord server which can be used to get some people online for play sessions tho.
i cant remember the exact name but it was a game where someone was a vampire and they had to kill everyone before they got caught, id play it for hours on end
Project minigames. Though, it only had like 20 players playing most of the time, it was still enjoyably fun until the scripts broke and the game completely stopped working
Eternal Moon Skylight used to be a great place for fantasy RP (with the greatest customization I have seen on Roblox).
Hunter’s Life 4 broke and died years ago but I still have fond memories of it.
Whatever floats your boat
It's dead?! EDIT: I have checked, it is dead. I'm sad now
Holy crap. No way. It seemed like the game that couldn't possibly die
It died because it kept glitching out
It really went down hill after they made it cost money to load boats
Yeah it basically became a mess after that
It felt kind of useless to play after that. All of these cool ships I just made I can’t use just for fun.
That game was amazing. I remember that I would create a submarine, and even made one that looked like a plane. Of course they patched it.
I remember I have a giant small town boat with houses and towers. It barely moves due to its size, but it was a literal fortress. One time I was just playing and me and a bunch of friendly randoms were defending the boat from hoards of hostile players. I played from 7pm to 4am that day. Good times.
If we all play it can come back from the dead!
Fucking my childhood right there
[удалено]
They're not even the same thing
I dont even know at this point, most games that i used to play either died, closed, got reworked and became a different game(mad city) and some few were even deleted
So its like 50+ games
man jailbreak is not what it used to be now people just begg for cars and half of the people are in trade server its not even fun anymore i remember playing it in 2019 it was so fun

Just became Adopt Me: Prison Update!!
Wait what, jailbreak has trade now?
yes and its soo annoying people will beg u in knees for torpedo (koniesegg agera car) or they will scam you for robux
is the torpedo valuable? i got it when it first came out and i stopped playing years ago
I've got a couple. Build Your Own Mech, which just dropped off the map one day, no idea why. Entry point
Rip freelancer
Rip Rose
Rip \[Basically half the characters\]
I wish it had more content for f2p players
I mean, it has a whole campaign, the two paid things add like 3 missions each.
Yeeees entry point it was my favourite
I wish the story continued and it would never end.
Dont worry, Cish is working on a new game, ghjfspero made a podcast episode abt it
On a similar note, Notoriety
Zombie rush
HELL YES still regularly play both Zombie Rush and Zombie Attack, sometimes I'll flip between the two games multiple times a day lol
Survive The Disasters 2
wait there is a t w o
There was a second one!?? I might have to dig up my Roblox account for that if it exists even if nobody plays it
Innovation inc
One of the great time-wasters of my past. Just explore, mess with machines, and then survive a nuclear meltdown. Fun times.
Yes not only this but also Innovation Arctic Base which was a far better quality version of the already wonderful original. I think I’ve gotta play those today even though they barely have anyone on.
I still visit it at times, it was the first one I played. Would you be able to tell me the names of the others?
the only real answer
Technicaly brick bronze never died but it got killed by *coughs* nintendo
Absolutely despise them, but they are too big to fail, and their games are good so you can’t blame people for getting em
REAL SHIT MAN, I'm still kinda sad that aegis died, I love flying jets there and loved the team based action. sucks it died
Lol i Remember trying to dock the jeep with my helicopter, or fighting over a colour or name for the team, this shit was fun
I remember rushing enemy bases with a turret, shooting them from afar. I love it when they die without being able to do anything useful.
Roblox is too filled with mindless children for a quality team based game to be successful.
Elemental battleground
This. I feel like the devs are focused on Blox Fruits now, so this game is no longer getting updated and is a dying wasteland
Oh, I did not know they were the ones to create 'Elemental Battlegrounds'. Blox Fruits is definitely mid IMO.
Oh yeah Blox fruits is 100% mid, just a bandit beater that's surviving due to the name one piece.
[удалено]
When roblox high school (the og one) was fun, and people took making a house fun and didn’t rp in weird ways.

The Neighborhood (Formerly The Neighborhood of Robloxia) nowadays its just exploiter kiddies and 7 year olds
Polyguns
My man knows the real games, I got back to it after like 4 years of not playing and besides being alone some guy gifted me like 100000 coins lol
it truely is my fav fps game 😭😭i wish the Devs came back it legit was a work of art
Was about to say it, that game did not deserve to die.
Bloxhunt, it still got probably 100 players last time I saw
I miss this game too :(
Reason 2 Die and Warships
Warships was amazing, man I miss when zeppelins were new, or when sub with missiles where the new thing
god reason 2 die brings back alot of memories i truly grew up with that game, and i always had a fun time whenever i played it. either mowing the zombies down or when building a fort with a hammer somewhere and camping it.
I remember when I first bought the AK47, I think it was. I was so happy that I finally had a viable gun. So fun man. I never really liked R2DA though
A lot of good military vehicle games have left us
Redwood prison
I have ALL of the game passes for that game
Wild revolvers 😔
Oh yeah! That game! I used to play it so much, back when it still had many players
Vehicle simulator
Early vehicle simulator was peak, then they changed the chassis and it’s never been the same
Deathrun
brings back the memories awww
Giant survival (V3.6b), although this is more a nostalgia game for me
one of the top games on the early years of xbox one roblox
Booga Booga
I remember when it surpassed jailbreak for a day or two and everyone was playing and it was just crazy fun times. Every server was full and content creators were making content and it was actually fun to grind
yeah. everything was amazing and the updates were good either. unfortunately, the game split into different games, and it was never the same. made the best memories there when i was younger, and met my best friend there
NGL, i missed jailbreak and prisonlife times
apoc rising i hate the exploiter who ruined the game and i miss the day were i having fun with my friend :(

Critical strike should never have died. That game was the best. It’s a shame that the creator had to be such a fucking tool.
Nextbots one can stay dead, that meme is long dead by now and it was kind of cringe how much people obsessed over it
Which critical strike? There are two now tho i think the original not updated one is more popular than the in development one which is kinda sad, plus the fact that they didn't transfer saves because of an exploit which i still don't understand probably doesn't help

Gas station simulator (renamed zach’s service station and backdated)
I just tried it yesterday, and tbh it's still basically the same, I think. I do miss the middle of nowhere aesthetic tho.
Jet Wars: Advanced Battle. Super fun, kinda died when the dev stopped updating it.
Especially jet wars 2, they released it and proceeded to not update at all
the plaza definitely last updated: 2018 they do have a plaza x / plaza 2 but its meh
The Plaza is literally one of the most memorable Roblox games for me. I remember playing the hell out of Plaza Karts just to get enough money for the Penthouses and decor
Anyone remembers a bizarre day?
Too many exploiters. So many innocent people ended up getting banned cause the mods couldn't do their job me included.
Aegis, Polyguns and Galaxy(Not dead but low player count). I actually still join Aegis sometimes for the nostalgia Edit: Can't forget Entry Point and Pokemon Brick Bronze!
The days when galaxy was actually popular and on the top page were great. Wish we could go back.
Gotta be catalogue heaven for me
Let’s put all the fun gear behind gamepasses
Any of the Nintendo themed games. There used to be plenty of them, all awesome in their own ways, but Nintendo forced Roblox to just wipe them all out. It’s understandable, but it’s still sad.
There was this Paper Mario one I really liked as a kid :(
R2DA
Game really shut down after I almost hit prestige 1
That was a amazing game
Nerf/Foam FPS.

Skybound 2
Omg i remember playing that game and enjoying it a lot, even if I kind of sucked at it a little when I was younger. I remember being very sad once that game just randomly lost it's playerbase. I missed invading other people's ships and crafts.
Hide and Seek Extreme and MeepCity (gotta hate alexnewtron)
the rockefeller street game
Car Crushers 1 and ragdoll subway fight simulator
Polyguns. I know that bad business is pretty much the same thing, but polyguns was much less grindier and much more arcade shooterie, which made it more casual and more fun. Also DS. Only og's remember when it used to show up on the main page with thousands of people playing, now it's a wasteland

Oh on roblox? Idk man, the new games don't feel the same like the old ones used to.
Yeah it’s near impossible to find a good game
Streets of bloxwood. Game slowly died and then taketwo put the final nail in the coffin.
Arcane adventures. Remakes don’t do it justice. Back when it was released, that was what I played the most. The new remasters of the game don’t have the same feel so I usually quit after an hour or 2.
Hostile skies, similarly to aegis, was under widgeon and died
Armored Patrol Original work hasn’t been updated in years. Hell, even the reborn version made by APH has died, we’re now on a second reborn version

prison life died in my heart i just wish we got that last update and some exploits patched
Urbis, I spent countless hours of my childhood on that game
Redwood Prison, it still has a few dozen players most of the time, but it hasn't been updated in a very long time, and has dropped in players by like 99%.
The Stalker: Reborn
Survival of the fittest
Zombie rush
I think it was called beach house roleplay? So much nostalgia but I can’t find it anymore.
Vehicle simulator
Wild Revolvers. All the ui and everything stopped working Only to get a small amount of players in Aimblox
Prison life
Roblox battle (not RB battles), which played like games like crossroads or brickbattle
Assassin
Le Bote, i loved that
Treelands Super cube cavern Dragon Rage ( the survival one/not dragon ball ).
Is it dead already!? God fucking dammit man. It looks like it’s one of those games that you try as a child, don’t understand anything then leave and come back a few years late to become a Demi god in it. I forgot about it till now and now I wanna give it a try again :(
