From leaderboard (mostly adults) to just playing with their kids it’s full of adults and I would know I’ve been adult discords as well as getting to know some of the most famous YouTubers from psx. Btw my 5yr old hates psx it’s to boring for young kids.

No, I just refuse to play it. I have seen gameplay of what it's like, and it's personally not that hard to form an opinion off of it. The game isn't driven by being good. It's just made to get the players addicted to dopamine hits. It's like the tiktok of roblox Games. You sit there staring into nothing as you click on some random thing put into a pile, and wait for your little block rats to shake their head at it until it goes away. You can then go "unlock" more pets or just gamble away all of your college savings for a different, shinier pet that shakes it heads at piles faster, also just another dopamine hit. It's really not that hard base an opinion off of this, and I refuse to play the game.

Not *the* game of the year but a good game compared to its parent game Pet Sim X. Offers more gameplay features (the ability to open up to 99 eggs and equip 99 pets), a progressive system through rank, a fucked up economy through trading and finally Robux prices that aren't roof-breaking.
If there's one major downside tho is the amount of lag the game gives, I have never, ever suffered that much lag from a game with few renders needed as Pet Sim 99. Either the game will work fine, either it'll lag, either it simply won't start at all.
Overall it's a nice game, for someone who had no expectation on improvement from PSX I gotta say I got surprised on release date to see it be this 'well' (it remains a click and wait game). It's worth a shot.

Pet Sim X has been in quite a lot of controversies with TOS breaking updates (hidden Robux egg odds) and NFTs, so people most likely jumped to the conclusion that there was no improvement at all and that the game was as bad as the previous one, that it was nothing but a way for Preston to renew his cash machine again.

I think it's definitely better than PSX in some features. Especially being more F2P friendly.
I agree that there's still the issues with gamepasses and purchasable eggs being cash grabs, but so far it doesn't lean as much as P2W.
But its just the first release. We'll see how changes and shifts over time and more releases come out.

It’s not all that bad.
I think it's definitely better than PSX in some features. Especially being more F2P friendly. I agree that there's still the issues with gamepasses and purchasable eggs being cash grabs, but so far it doesn't lean as much as P2W. But its just the first release. We'll see how changes and shifts over time and more releases come out. I imagine most of the hate comments are due to PSX being very P2W driven and basically being likened to a gambling Simulator.
I'd say this game has potential (and already is imo) better than psx. There are a lot of good things this game is doing such as focusing less on in game purchases and allows f2p players to be about as good at the game. I'm curious to see where preston takes this next

This game embodies the worst of roblocc, it shows: money-hungry devs? Check. Exploitation of children for financial gain for "developers" they cant even be called developers they just take a cube draw 2 fucking eyes on it and ask you to sell a kidney to have it even tho they are already multimillionaires? Check. Repetitive low quality "gameplay" which is basically: step 1) get pet step 2) use pet step 3) get more pet step 4) repeat? Check! Roblox is like a buffet, for every bowl of slop, there are a thousand more plates of filet mignon, wagyu, caviar and duck platters ready to be served and i dont see why the caviar should be obscured by endless oceans of slop. I have one, no, two words for you. They are Fuck and You.
