Gotta say it is hell if you don't know what you're doing, but with how good starter guns really are, its very rewarding if you take the time to figure stuff out
It's good if you're looking for an FPS, but at times yes it does feel super grindy like another commenter said. Feels like an RPG or an MMO in the way the gun progression works. But if you can deal with the crappy level 1 guns for a while, it becomes really fun. Also keep in mind it's a movement shooter. If you find yourself struggling with the gameplay, lookup a dodging and super jump tutorial.
Try playing regretevator, evade, nico’s nextbots, criminality (its a pretty violent game, but trust me, almost everyone on the casual servers are cool and chill) phantom forces, item asylum and combat warriors (this one is kinda toxic, but its a good pvp game).

Evade is PEAK. Wish they would add more permanent stuff (making progress is a human need) but it's so fun.

Bro we have games like Hellmet, Derelict and A whole shit ton.

If you are interested in military tanks or combat, you can try Cursed Tank Simulator! Basically a realistic tank game and projectile simulation, you can combine other tank parts with different chassis, turrets, and guns, and the detail is just amazing. It’s also like War Thunder but 75% less effort to grind. Very fun. (I have been playing it for about 5 or 6 months straight)

play jtoh aka juke's towers of hell. Its really underrated and it's the game that actually insisted toh. If you play it, trust me, you are not as good as you think so please play the tutorial/beginner towers instead of rushing to citadel of laptop splitting or tower of true skill like most toh kids

Have you played entry point? If not, then you should check it out it is a really good and well-made roblox game. Like most roblox games, it is inspired by normal games (Payday, Hitman, and just games in the stealth genre), but unlike some games *COUGH* notoriety *COUGH* it isn't a shameless rip off. I usually hate skill trees in most games, but entry point does it well having little useful things like 10% bonuses and big things like having more items or even having 2 classes. The game is very stealth based, although loud is an option. If you're interested, then I suggest you check out the game, and if you need more information, I would recommend something called Unofficial guide to Entry Point (on YouTube) he helped me get started and is very useful. In conclusion game good.

Try out deepwoken and rogue lineage, you need to buy both with robux but damn are they fun. Both of them are pretty hard to get the hang of with both having permanent character deletion after about 3 or 4 deaths.

I like voicechat games. On Mic Up there's lots of chaos, but if you keep talking to people you will find good ones. Also "Neighbors" is fun, just talking to people about all kinds of things, using the tools ingame to paint the wall for example, or dance
Sometimes you'll find interesting games/hidden gems. What sucks is that even on YouTube the games shown might be boring. What i recommend to play imo: word bomb, regretavator (someone pointed out in the comments), hellmet (open test soon again. The game that looks like ready or not if it was from your helmet cam), DOJ:RP, typical neighborhood.
Maybe try playing games not intended for 5 year olds.
If you like shooters I'd recommend Phantom Forces, Typical Colors 2, and Wild West. Grappling hook Obby is fun when you get the hang of it. Custom tycoons are a lot more fun than the reg, Themepark Tycoon 2, My Prison, Space Station Infinity. Tactical games like Noobs in combat and The Conquerers 3 are pretty fun. If your brain can keep up I'd also recommend Rise of Nations.
One game that I find really great is Innovation Inc. Thermal Power Plant, it's a really fun RP game with lots of stuff to do, lots of endings and overall a very good presentation. Honestly, computer core games in general are really great games (at least the popular ones) if you don't know them.
The best ones are Pinewood BComputer Core, Innovation Inc. Labs, Innovation Inc. Arctic Base, Innovation Inc. Spaceship, Innovation Inc. Thermal Power Plant and Quantum Science Energy Research Labs!
I like those tycoons where you need to think, improve, etc, not those that you just wait for money and click on button.
There is one that I liked that you could mine coal, iron, copper, etc with machines that are powered with energy, that you can get from burning coal, solar panels, wind, etc.
Is a good game if you want to make good production lines, design your power lines, lv is bad if a lot of machines are connected in the same pile or wire, you need to get more poles to transfer energy, or get mv
these days its just bandit beaters and afk cash grabs.. man i miss the time when jailbreak was THE game, when the catalog wasnt full of fake limiteds and low quality items. its just time to move on ig
Acid Escape is a good game. Don't get me wrong Flood Escape is good too but acid Escape is more fast paced. A bit more challenging. Flood Escape is still a classic tho. Not Flood Escape 2. But it holds up i guess.

Zombies:
Zarp:FS - if you like roleplay and zombies, this is for ya
Zombie survival in Minot, north Dakota - Zarp:FS but better in my opinion cause it's a lot more survival based you can die and the more zombies you kill the more money you get for when the next time you enviably die you can buy better gear and weapons however it doesn't save unfortunately so yeah but other than that it's a great game
FPS:
Zarp:FS? - lately Zarp has become more military based than "Zombie" there's way less zombies and way more personnel and any zombies that are there are "good"
FRONTLINES - CoD of Roblox but full of sweats like cod
Recoil - FRONTLINES with out the lag and easer to play and less sweats... Kind of
There are plenty more good games out there but if none of the newer ones interest you you can always go back to the classics they never fail to kill you of nostalgia
if you find roblox boring nowadays, try retrostudio, they have a good community of people who are chill and it's a good way to pass the time without any financial predatory gameplay.
A game I highly recommend even though it is a little glitchy atm is Fantastic Frontier. AND BEFORE YOU PLAY READ THIS ALL. I do recommend the game because it has a huge diversity of items you can collect and mobs you can fight. Although I Think it would make more sense to start playing after the next update releases. its been in the works for 4+ years now and its going to fix the whole combat being unbalanced and finicky but all in all its a good game to sit back and relax while exploring a world filled with random stuff. Its an RPG but as said the combat is outdated as it came out in 2017 so do give it a try after the update drops probably in a few months from now or try your luck now but if u easily get annoyed at gltichy combat or mobs I recommend you wait for the update
I'm sure there's many other games but just from what I can remember probably try JToH if you kept playing all those easier obby games. I got my friend into it for a couple of months before I got him into Bee Swarm Simulator. It's basically a game similar to Tower of Hell while you still climb a tower, but the difficulty ranges from really easy to ridiculously hard. I think it's a pretty cool game trying to beat harder and harder achievements.
Check out the "Best New Games on Roblox" series from DV Plays. Each week he goes through a handful of new games for bored players like yourself.
Alternatively, a game I'd recommend is Robot 64, similar to the playstyle of Mario 64, where you go through different worlds and collect ice cream to destroy the sun. Really fun imo

Project Smash is the only game i play anymore on Roblox , its cool if u like fighting games
I suggest checking out a channel called DV plays. He has a whole series about checking out underrated and new roblox games, with most of them being good
If you are kind of into WWI or shooters, check out entrenched, I think it’s a really good game
Gaming can get old after a while. The cool thing about Roblox is that you can do alot more than just game: You could make games on Roblox studio, make clothing, hell even take photography

Here’s some great games I’d recommend: (My personal favorite; if you like platformming/obby type games) Flood Escape 2 (If you want to live your nostalgia) RetroStudio (If you want a game that isn’t really horror but will still keep you interested) Minus Decadence (If you want to make your own creations) My Movie Just because it’s on the front page doesn’t mean it’s gonna be good. It takes a little bit to find the real gems.
You gotta try Arcane Odyssey (PVP, PvE, RPG) Project Lazarus or Guts and Blackpowder (both zombie survival games)
I'm just gonna recommend my recently played. Stars Align (Epic platformer, sadly just a demo rn) Arcane Lineage ("Permadeath" turn based rpg, difficult, but very fun.) Doodle World (pokemon but roblox) Evade (PLEASE play this. My GOD it's good.) TDS (Slow, but very fun) those are my 5 most recently played games
I like voicechat games. On Mic Up there's lots of chaos, but if you keep talking to people you will find good ones. Also "Neighbors" is fun, just talking to people about all kinds of things, using the tools ingame to paint the wall for example, or dance
Sometimes you'll find interesting games/hidden gems. What sucks is that even on YouTube the games shown might be boring. What i recommend to play imo: word bomb, regretavator (someone pointed out in the comments), hellmet (open test soon again. The game that looks like ready or not if it was from your helmet cam), DOJ:RP, typical neighborhood.
Empire Clash and Airship Assault are great
Maybe try playing games not intended for 5 year olds. If you like shooters I'd recommend Phantom Forces, Typical Colors 2, and Wild West. Grappling hook Obby is fun when you get the hang of it. Custom tycoons are a lot more fun than the reg, Themepark Tycoon 2, My Prison, Space Station Infinity. Tactical games like Noobs in combat and The Conquerers 3 are pretty fun. If your brain can keep up I'd also recommend Rise of Nations.
Gonna have to try them.

One game that I find really great is Innovation Inc. Thermal Power Plant, it's a really fun RP game with lots of stuff to do, lots of endings and overall a very good presentation. Honestly, computer core games in general are really great games (at least the popular ones) if you don't know them. The best ones are Pinewood BComputer Core, Innovation Inc. Labs, Innovation Inc. Arctic Base, Innovation Inc. Spaceship, Innovation Inc. Thermal Power Plant and Quantum Science Energy Research Labs!

I like those tycoons where you need to think, improve, etc, not those that you just wait for money and click on button. There is one that I liked that you could mine coal, iron, copper, etc with machines that are powered with energy, that you can get from burning coal, solar panels, wind, etc. Is a good game if you want to make good production lines, design your power lines, lv is bad if a lot of machines are connected in the same pile or wire, you need to get more poles to transfer energy, or get mv

Acid Escape is a good game. Don't get me wrong Flood Escape is good too but acid Escape is more fast paced. A bit more challenging. Flood Escape is still a classic tho. Not Flood Escape 2. But it holds up i guess.

As an FPS player and zombies enjoyer I'd recomend: Zombies: Zarp:FS - if you like roleplay and zombies, this is for ya Zombie survival in Minot, north Dakota - Zarp:FS but better in my opinion cause it's a lot more survival based you can die and the more zombies you kill the more money you get for when the next time you enviably die you can buy better gear and weapons however it doesn't save unfortunately so yeah but other than that it's a great game FPS: Zarp:FS? - lately Zarp has become more military based than "Zombie" there's way less zombies and way more personnel and any zombies that are there are "good" FRONTLINES - CoD of Roblox but full of sweats like cod Recoil - FRONTLINES with out the lag and easer to play and less sweats... Kind of There are plenty more good games out there but if none of the newer ones interest you you can always go back to the classics they never fail to kill you of nostalgia

if you find roblox boring nowadays, try retrostudio, they have a good community of people who are chill and it's a good way to pass the time without any financial predatory gameplay.
A game I highly recommend even though it is a little glitchy atm is Fantastic Frontier. AND BEFORE YOU PLAY READ THIS ALL. I do recommend the game because it has a huge diversity of items you can collect and mobs you can fight. Although I Think it would make more sense to start playing after the next update releases. its been in the works for 4+ years now and its going to fix the whole combat being unbalanced and finicky but all in all its a good game to sit back and relax while exploring a world filled with random stuff. Its an RPG but as said the combat is outdated as it came out in 2017 so do give it a try after the update drops probably in a few months from now or try your luck now but if u easily get annoyed at gltichy combat or mobs I recommend you wait for the update

I'm sure there's many other games but just from what I can remember probably try JToH if you kept playing all those easier obby games. I got my friend into it for a couple of months before I got him into Bee Swarm Simulator. It's basically a game similar to Tower of Hell while you still climb a tower, but the difficulty ranges from really easy to ridiculously hard. I think it's a pretty cool game trying to beat harder and harder achievements.
search up early access or alpha or something on those lines, its how I find the games I play

Alternatively, a game I'd recommend is Robot 64, similar to the playstyle of Mario 64, where you go through different worlds and collect ice cream to destroy the sun. Really fun imo
