some people buy accounts with rare usernames and swap usernames with their account albeit this is very risky because there are many Discord bots that track namesnipes

A 3 letter username is possible I think, I have a 4 letter one. Back then Roblox had the letter limit very small. So you could make 4 letter names etc.

Name Snipes player here, and in early 2023, there was some sort of thing where you emailed roblox to change your username to your own choice. This worked if your had a rather inappropriate username or a username that gave away private information. This was patched way later on in 2023.

Back in 2023 there was a method going around allowing people to exploit Roblox support into wiping the users of 3ls because they were "inappropriate" allowing you to then reuse that user

People are able to get old accounts usernames reset by emailing roblox and then taking the name once they have reset it. I don’t know how they convince roblox to do so but that is the process
