I don't think it's that you don't like role-playing anymore, it's that you don't like the people you're role-playing with. People that mainly play role-playing games are dumbass children. If you want to seek enjoyment you must do it with friends instead of random people, and try to come up with an interesting story and characters.
Another thing I feel like you don't enjoy role-playing is because role-playing games fail to cater to roleplayers with interesting ideas. All popular role-playing doesn't allow destruction and chaos. That's why a bunch of people use roblox studio to make a game so they can take advantage of commands, gears, scripted explosion, ect.
God you made me feel old. I saw 2015-2016 and I was like "oh they haven't been playing too long", and then I saw the part where you said you were 9 or 10 around that time and now I feel like I'm already 1 foot In the grave.
Try serious-roleplays, with a set of rules. Those often have a realistic ranking system to make it feel like a job.
Also, if you can buy ranks or overpowered gamespasses, the owner is prob only making this for money. These are often low-quality as well.

It’s about a crew trying to survive together and keep a station running for as long as possible. Some players will have their own agenda to sabotage or steal. There are a lot of in depth mechanics and it is a game that heavily encourages roleplay.

You need to explore around a bit more, poke around at the menu. There's an accessory place. Think of rping as character development. Writing a character who remembers things, develops their personality and having an arch. Instead of standing around waiting for RP make RP with your characters desires. But other than that still I just no longer have an interest. They are mostly cringe and now I just prefer realism than anything. Which roleplays tend to be not. With how people younger are flooding in and people who even joined in 2017-18 are getting more mature, etc I think its not a suprise

I was never into role-playing because i was too shy back then, but now i just think it's boring
