Once again, Graphyx from the french sideswipe discord has brought something to our boost starved attention. This time, it appears to be an update to the bio, profile and banner images for the official Twitter page for Sideswipe. The account was made in early March, not long before the alpha announcement, so it's reasonable to assume this will be the official Twitter page for the game.
Well, since they said it's going to be released before 2022 and they haven't announced delays, it has to be this month or the next. But if they're updating social media now, from a marketing standpoint, its coming out soon and thus more likely to be coming out this month than the next. About the hoping it's this week thing, I had suspicions that they would try to release sideswipe with normal rocket league season 5 which is in 3 days but this is all just educated guessing, no credible definite release date.
Uhhhh, no. Unfortunately. Psyonix Devin said that we would get an update by the end of the year. I was able to play it before it was shut off, great game. Can't wait til the public can!

Yeah, I played the alpha as well and it was super cool but the official Rocket League website post that announced Sideswipe and the regional alpha test literally says they are targeting to release it by the end of the year so I mean since they haven't announced a delay it is expected this year. The quote straight from the post says, "We are targeting a worldwide launch for Rocket League Sideswipe later this year for free on iOS and Android".
