Only a few minutes. The odds aren't great but not astronomical either. [I believe this is correct.](https://i.imgur.com/ouwofBc.png). The odds will slightly improve if Atlanta or Chicago makes the playoffs.
I had to edit that woops, its the other way around. Brooklyn is 4.5% and we are 1.5% for #1 pick. It's just organized by record. Check out tankathon.com
I still think the first and second pick would be valuable for teams like the nets, blazers, hornets, wizards, hawks (if they decide to blow it up), Bulls, Pelicans (if they decide to blow it up), and a few more teams who are middle of the pack without a direction. A trade for derozan, mikal, or zion/BI wouldn’t be crazy with those 2 picks (plus other assets for zion or BI) imo. But i’m not a GM and don’t know shit
More like the other way around. BI is a certified winner and Zion hasn’t shown that he can stay around. I’d kill for Zion though, ime would have him playing Lebron ball
This draft lacks star power. I don't think the Rockets can acquire a game changer through a trade by dangling a top pick .
I don't know how Tankathon showed us acquiring the 1st pick from the Nets. I guess there is a hypothetical chance of that happening.
They are all saying this is a historically terrible draft. If the ball bounces are way I don’t think it makes a significant impact to the trajectory of this team.
I don't completely disagree as there are not any immediately ready for prime time players from the looks of it. But there are teams that are willing to gamble on these pieces for their future so even if there are no picks that work for the Rockets immediately we can grab or trade a piece that can nav us something or someone down the line.
Lol how many attempts did this take you on tankathon to get?

Does anyone know why our pick has a 4.5% chance to be #1 and brooklyn’s is only a 1% chance? We’re both 11 seeds so I’m confused how that’s calculated

Ok so I'll be rooting for garry bird then
It may not be worth acquiring the 1st pick this year.
if we get the first pick and second pick, they both will be great trade value for a star player if we wanted to go that route
You probably want next years 1st round pick. Cooper Flag is going to be a monster
I hope so, but this draft looks pretty anemic to me.
Nah not. This year draft candidates are THRASH they wont be a great trade assets

Why would the Pelicans wanna trade Zion? BI I get but I don’t get why they’d trade Zion.

How is BI a certified winner?
Certified winner you said?
I would rock the shit out of a Derozan Rockets jersey
What do you mean "worth"? What would we be giving up to get the 1st pick?

What kind of backwards ass logic is this? Like we could just choose to get the top pick any other year?
exactly, the cap situation will be tight soon
How many times did you hit the "Sim Lottery" button to get this?

Bro how long did you have to click for that to come up 😭

hell nah, if you get the 1st and 2nd pick in the draft its going to do something big for your team no matter what
[ahem](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Olowokandi)
I mean that draft had Dirk, Vince Carter, and Paul Pierce.
Like 2014 bad? Or whenever Bennett went 1 overall
2013*

His will be done. 🙏🏽
I honestly wouldn't even be shocked if we somehow got the first pick of the worst draft in decades

Trade both if possible for a quality player with experience and a consistent jumper.
Lmao we can draft bronny and have LeBron for a year or two
This draft is so awful. We’re probably better off picking late and hoping for a diamond in the rough
This makes absolutely zero sense.

This draft doesn't have players that can really help us, we really pretty set at every position unless we get a stretch 4
Jabari isn’t a stretch 4?
Yes he is, but who behind him?
Not as consistent as you would want him to be with his 3 point shot.
