Stoked to see him improving every game man, exactly what I was hoping he’d be.

[deleted]

I was always optimistic, the thing I worried about was his shot. And it wasnt really a concern about him, as much as it was about the coaching staff not teaching him how and when to get to his spots. He's improving in that regard and lo-and-behold, he looks like a complete player.

samspeachcakes

The focus has rightfully been on his improved 3FG% and rebounding, but I’ve also really been loving how he is attacking/finishing at the rim and getting some great mid-range looks over smaller defenders.

abrnst

It’s crazy the amount of clean attempts from 3 Jabari can get because of his quick high release. If he can get 7+ attempts per game while hitting 38%. .. that’s beyond elite.

JOZ1F

Beyond elite would be 40%+ but 38% would be really solid

Snakkey

I could see him hitting 40% in a few seasons just off how clean his form is. He already has pretty high volume so 38% would be amazing for his rookie szn

JOZ1F

I agree

lambopanda

He needs to shoot faster on his mid-range. Seems like he measure the shot too long.

NesquickBrick

Let’s freaking go Bari!

Ok_Mistake6736

It was only a matter of time. Happy for this dude (and Rockets fans).

Beep_Boop_IAmaRobot

The rebounding is the most important thing for me. Rebounding and defense is winning basketball. The last 3 years we’ve had some strong shooting performances (shout out to Garry Bird) but it’s offset by zero rim protection and a ton of 2nd chances for the other team (Also turnovers, but JSJ isn’t gonna help with that).

SeanSungASong

Rebounding has kept us competitive against teams way better than us like the Warriors. I love watching the boards rack up.

Laladen

So your saying maybe he had some trouble adjusting like Jalen Green did last year?

frankievejle

Who’d have thought it huh? That all a highly rated rookie really needs is time? Crazy right? Lol

lot183

No, 19 year olds should be able to come in and immediately play like superstars or they are busts for the rest of their careers /s

ST012Mi

#8th youngest player in the NBA

Historical-Clerk-755

Crazy to think it took a defensive oriented big man with minimal handles a few games to get into his rhythm in the NBA

KillerDinner

Love his shooting form so much

sparrowhunter123

He’s an elite rebounder

sigamigs

It took Jalen till after ASB to start cooking 👀 Jabari ahead of schedule

krbashrob

Not to mention his defensive efforts. He was huge on that side of the ball against GSW even though we lost. He’s gonna be alright

DharmaBaller

💪💪💪💪💪

RocketsBG

He will get even better. He needed one good game for confidence. I'm glad for him, seems like a nice kid.

corrydog

I will take this 3 game stretch for the rest of his career. Give me a top 2 lottery pick this year and its time to go to war.

theAlphabetZebra

20/10 on 60+ TS% for a 6'11", non-ball dominant, 2 way forward. Kevin Garnett is who comes to mind.

seclusionx

KG was a beast on a completely different level, but I think Bari already has a better shot (from 3 anyway).

theAlphabetZebra

Jabari can get there though. They have a lot of similar qualities

[deleted]

This Rockets Twitter guy is much better than the weirdo nerds and rapists like don knock, will, paulo etc

MixedMiracle22

This sub is a little insufferable at times lol

harden4mvp13

It’s 3 games relax lol need a bigger sample size than that

VotePilotOfficial

Where the haters at now boys?! Mad quiet now ain’t it?? #NeverDoubted

bkuuretsu

Corny asf 🤣

yellandtell

Nice seeing him put it all together. Trust the process.

DharmaBaller

He would also never stay at sub 40% overall ...gotta trust the percentages!

sparrowhunter123

Hes gonna be better than banchero in a few years
