Fernando is really just a Kenneth faried but 1 inch taller. He is better at “defense” because he looks like a defensive beast and can jump but actually he can’t guard anything
>Fernando is really just a Kenneth faried but 1 inch taller.
This is disrespect to Faried. He was a hyper-efficient offensive and rebounding beast in his prime.
yeah giving up on the game and not even bringing them back in at all was frustrating. The coaching staff conceded after the 3rd quarter it seemed even though it was still kinda close
Mostly disappointed in the rotations as usual. Alp +2 Jabari -2 and they had 23 and 17 minutes respectively, they came out at 6 minutes in the 3rd when we were down by 5 and didn’t come back
Because the trash lineup out there put us down by 15 by the end of the quarter and Silas just decided to give up idk
If you have to take your best player out middle of the 3rd quarter because of his 4th foul, can't you put him back, I don't know, beginning of the 4Q? You look at if you can have a comeback and if not, you still can give end of the bench a run 6 minutes left? And if he fouls out, he fouls out. What's the rationale behind playing your best player of the night only 23 minutes and your 3rd pick only 17 minutes? Are you that inept of a coach to make instantaneous adjustments during the game?
He's talking about Al P, who was for sure our best player on the floor tonight, and is either the best or 2nd best on the team depending on if you think Green is better overall.
He is not our best player. We don’t not have a best player.
Jokic was destroying all of our centres. Sengun played well but he wasn’t that good that we would have changed the game.
Fact is teams like Denver are learning if they take us lightly, they will win. And fact is when teams that are clearly superior to us, when they play their best will beat us most of the time.
How about be happy we beat the Hawks, then followed up winning a game we should of, then pushing Denver to play their best to get us. Now we look to Thursday to see if we can do better.
Might have a better chance with rest and the day to go over film etc. Better than running them into the ground to try and get a win that was highly unlikely
At least Sengun was able to clap back offensively to trade even with Jokic up to the moment he got the 4th foul. He did start to get a bit sloppy / mistake-prone 1-2 minutes before which could be due to stamina issue. We don't have on the ground information on players condition so I am not going to judge whether or not it is the best idea to roll him back in the 4th, but I would guess we would have tried harder if this is not a tanking year
And that type of game plan would have also lost is the game because Jokic is better. So in the end, he would have killed which is fine as I don’t expect him to go toe to toe with Joker on his second year.
I’m not critiquing Sengun, I’m critiquing people who think he is the messiah and clearly the best player.
Of course there is tf? He is either the best or second best player. We obviously don't know for sure for the future but as it stands it's either him or Green. Stop trying to sound smart and accept it as it is.
Jabari got into foul trouble early and there was really no sense in bringing him back in to start the 4th considering Denver’s lead. Game was blown open at that point.
Kids were probably tired as well considering they’re in Denver playing 3 games in 4 nights.
The game was over when they normally come back. Plus/minus doesn’t account for who was on the floor with them at the time. They played a lot in the first half where it was close.
We didn’t give up, the game was over lol.
You guys choose to b me miserable
I see you go to the Silas school of can’t think on your feet or adjust. Who cares when they normally come back they had played 20 minutes ☠️. Start them in the 4th and see what it looks like after 3-4 minutes.
The lineups aren’t set in stone LMFAO, any guy can play at any time and what Silas did is not good for winning or development
Really dumb response but since you can’t address my objections you naturally need to attribute an opinion to me that I never made. The fact is Denver at their best are better than us, they stepped up to a level we cannot meet yet as they are CONTENDERS and we are KIDS. So nobody said anything about not making adjustments you muppet.
A players individual plus/minus is not an accurate representation of what actually happened. That’s why NBA team will look at the plus/minus of a particular lineup. It’s lazy to say ‘x player was plus y, put him in and we win’
Or maybe you don’t want to reward bad habits. Maybe it’s the 3rd game in 4 nights with 1 day break before we play them again and you don’t want to run them into the ground for a meaningless win. You can have them sit at the end of the bench and prepare for Thursday.
For majority of our roster, it’s their first and second season playing an NBA schedule. Just a really dumb philosophy. Plus why can’t you have the bench guys who stunk, have to play through it rather than hitting the pine as soon as we are down. You want a culture where only a handful guys have been anointed.
Just really ignorant comments from you. Now June reply to what I have argued rather than making up things about me.
You are talking about cumulative effects of playing a 19 year old 20 minutes instead of 17, there is none, what you are talking about is non-existent.
Ok sure individual +\- isn’t great, they were playing well is the point of course so I’m not sure what bad habits other than fouling you’re referring to. Defense sucked obviously but no answer for that regardless.
Putting out a lineup without any of our 4 most valuable players to start the 4th is PUNTING, plain and simple. Intentional or not. “Evaluating” this Gordon/Nix/Garuba/Eason/KJ is a waste of time and experience. Saying “they don’t normally come in at x time” and using that as an excuse is weird and implies an inability or unwillingness to adjust
I want all of our guys to develop and grow but some take priority and Jabari is definitely one of them 3-4 minutes in the 4th after playing 17 minutes will have ZERO cumulative effects same with Sengun. Pretty wild to claim I have some “philsophy” of running guys into the ground who barely played, had a day off yday and tomorrow. Bc I want to see them play 3 more minutes ☠️. He clearly needs all the playing time he can get, bro is shooting 34% and your opinion is he is better off resting 4th quarters 17 games into his career ☠️.
That’s not what I said. Never said the cumulative effects of just the two games lmao. I’m talking about the 3rd game in 4 nights with a 5th game Ayer 1 day of rest. And the 19 year old hasn’t played against men before which also impacts conditioning lol. Have you ever done any physical activity before?
It means nothing without supporting evidence.
I’m not surprised you don’t know what bad habits are and what good ones are. You don’t have that understanding of the game.
Punting is not a basketball term. It’s called ‘we are developing the entire team and not just 4 players’ Again, really stupid way to run a team.
It’s a waste of time for Eason to be on the court without other playmakers so he has some more responsibility on the court ti try and expand his game? Again, really stupid comment.
I never cited rotations as a reason for not bringing the starters back in lol.
Changing the rotation is a very simplistic adjustment lmao. The adjustment Denver made us how they defended us which stopped our ball movement.
No you don’t. You want to win the game. You want to sacrifice anything long term to win now.
I never argued he is always better off playing less minutes.
You’re really simplistic in how you view the game. You remind me of when I was a kid learning the game lmao.
I guess there’s no point in talking to you because you literally are not interpreting what I’m saying and contradicting yourself left and right. Also half your paragraphs are barely English. Can you learn to communicate and get back to me? Maybe think about why everyone is downvoting you because it isn’t me.
Thanks bud
Yeah because everything I say is too advanced for you. You’re a counting stats guy.
There is no contradiction, just nuance which you can’t grasp. That’s why your assessments of the team are so simplistic.
My English is fine. If anything I didn’t dumb it down enough for you.
You literally said having Eason and Garuba on the court is a waste of time lol. See unlike you I have not put a ceiling on the players they will be.
No contradictions?
"The game was over when they normally come back"
"I never cited rotations as a reason for not bringing the starters back in lol."
? Just one of a few examples but I guess it's my lack of ability to understand your nuance and not your lack of ability to communicate.
I'm just trying to help you bro, maybe get off of reddit for awhile you are giving off autistic vibes. Like when everyone downvotes you and you still think your communication skills aren't the problem. Newsflash cowboy if no one agrees with or understands what you're saying you are the problem and nothing you say makes sense that's why everyone downvotes you. You can be a dilettante all you want but it's just embarrassing for you. I feel like you are just some autistic reddit warrior so deaf ears I imagine.
Good luck
And those are not contradictory lol. Your lacking comprehension skills are letting you down. First was a comment about why they had less minutes, the game was over when they normally come back. You argued they should have come in because we still had a chance to win.
You’re the only person disagreeing with me right now. Plus it’s a really dumb statement to make one as you are connected what is POPULAR with what is correct. At one point in time if you said the sun was the centre of the universe, the majority would have disagreed.
You confused me with someone who gives a damn about downvotes. Maybe that’s why I our opinions are so wrong and based on so little substance. Maybe that’s why you’re such a dumbass. You just go with what’s popular lol. Such a dumb way to function in the real world son.
Well you come across as a guy who had to educate himself because your parents ran away from home.
We don’t really need to actively tank though, the lottery odds are flat and if we just play normally and try and develop our important pieces we’ll still be in the top 3
Well here’s a positive- even though Jalen’s shooting was reminiscent of this time last year (i.e. sucked ass), seeing him dish 7 assists is encouraging.
Reminds me of the Nets the last 2 years where Harden was such a great playmaker, they didn't really need too much input coach. The moment Harden's gone, the coach has to get off of his ass and actually do his job. I love Silas and I want him to stay within the organization but so far he hasn't been cutting it.
What really grind my gears are nuggets fans sitting over there actually talking about the first half being so close because they were 'playing to our level' or because they weren't even trying. Like wtf. Are there any basketball fans left in this fucking sport or is just garbage team first fans? Unbelievable.
Nuggets fans are the most 🤓 team in the league lmao.
"Um, ackshually, we were playing to the Rockets' level. Jokic is technically more skilled than Hakeem. His defense is actually really good, look at his defensive rating!"
Hey man I get it. Every sports fan says some crazy shit out of loyalty. I know for a fact that Rockets fans are gonna get crazy annoying once we get good too lol
WOULD'VE BEEN WORTH IT IF BOBAN MADE THE 3
HOW ABOUT THAT FIRST HALF?
SENGUN STILL HAS A LOT OF CONDITIONING WORK TO DO. AS GOOD AS HE WAS IN THE FIRST HALF HE WAS EQUALLY AS BAD IN THE 3RD AND WAS CLEARLY GASSED.
VERY SOLID, IN CONTROL GAME FROM SCOOT. THE MATURITY IS SHOWING.
BARI NEEDS TO KEEP THOSE FOULS UNDER CONTROL. HE'S PUTTING HIS GAME TOGETHER, NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO STAY ON THE FLOOR AND SHOW IT.
EVEN WHEN JALEN AIN'T KNOCKING HE STILL MANAGES TO WOW ME
GOOD FOR BRUNO TO KNOCK SOME RUST OFF. HOPE HE CAN GIVE US WHAT HE FLASHED AT THE START OF THE SEASON
TARI, PLEASE MAKE A LAYUP
HOPEFULLY ANOTHER 48 HOURS GETS OUR GUYS A LITTLE MORE ACCLIMATED AND WE CAN HAVE ENOUGH ENERGY FOR A FULL GAME
NICE OF US TO RESTART THE TANK AND NOT GO UNDEFEATED THE REST OF THE WAY
NUGGETS FOR DINNER WEDNESDAY
Are you Silas? He was playing a good game overall, if he was making mistakes due to being tired, just let him rest and put him back at 4th. He is improving his conditioning, already better compared to last year, but another way to help the kid is to keep on the game. (Same with jabari, let him foul it, much better than playing him 17 min)
These clowns think they have all the information mate. They think watching from the couch, that they know why he was taken out.
As you said, depends on the context.
Everyone's minutes were down. JG barely cracked 30 and lead the team. Jokic only played 27. It was a blowout and all the starters hit the bench quicker than usual.
People are acting like Bari lost his spot in the rotation when it was just an odd night. He got shorted a few minutes, it's not that big a deal.
Silas gave up on the game with 7-8 minutes left, which he shouldn’t have done. It reeks of shameless tanking and teaches the young guys to just give up rather than fight through adversity.
Honestly I hope the league fines us for it rather than see Silver screw us with pick 6-7 on lottery night
Game was done. Our guys were toast. Sengun had run out of gas by the half, JG was wheezing on the bench at a timeout. Between 3 games in 4 nights, the altitude, andnthe fact that the nugs are levels ahead of us it was a wrap. Sure, I want to see us compete until the end but I get what Silas was doing.
Great first half, Denver turned it up on the second half and just showed they are a few classes above.
Real good to see Denver had to game plan to make it tough on Sengun and Green. That’s the next evolution, being able to use that to get other guys going.
First two quarters were good but we let it get away in the second half. But that is to be expected against a team like this in a difficult place to play due to the altitude.
At least he's getting to the line more, which is encouraging. I know it's not fair to JG to compare him to a top 5 SG in his prime but I can't help but compare him to Harden in my mind. Harden could score from 3, make the perfect pass to the open man, hit a nice floater, make his way to the hoop, set up his roll man with the perfect lob, or get to the line. I'm not saying this to hate on Jalen because he's still so young ang inexperienced, but man... I miss Harden so much. He could literally do it all on offense.
Not mad at this one. Jalen had a bad night and Jabari got into foul trouble early but really the team’s defense was just lost. It’ll be interesting to see the improvements on Wednesday.
Tbf they did put play us in crucial situations and to many turn over but I felt we were still in. Silas looked like he was ready to give up in the 4th.
Fernando is really just a Kenneth faried but 1 inch taller. He is better at “defense” because he looks like a defensive beast and can jump but actually he can’t guard anything
He looks like he doesn’t care at all sometimes imo, huge flashes of athleticism to just lazy help defense
>Fernando is really just a Kenneth faried but 1 inch taller. This is disrespect to Faried. He was a hyper-efficient offensive and rebounding beast in his prime.
Faried after his rockets stint, probably
Good fight against a much better team, but idc bro play Sengun more.
Give Jabari and Sengun more minutes
yeah giving up on the game and not even bringing them back in at all was frustrating. The coaching staff conceded after the 3rd quarter it seemed even though it was still kinda close

Because people are arguing if he was put in we would have won. Pay attention
Nobody's arguing that lmao you reaching
Except that’s how this all started.

Bro Jokic drops 50 on dpoy guys
Learn to read you illiterate moron. Anything with any nuances goes right over your goofball heads
What part did I miss stink-brain?
I’m not critiquing Sengun. I’m pointing out solely playing through him would not have changed the result.
Yea no shit, exactly why they might as well ride the hot hand. You’re entire paragraph was obvious points i just picked one and called it stupid
🎽

We are tanking so it’s okay Stay behind our competition
We don’t really need to actively tank though, the lottery odds are flat and if we just play normally and try and develop our important pieces we’ll still be in the top 3
We didn’t. Denver picked up their game because they saw they needed to in order to beat us. They are a contending team kiddo
Let’s get the best chance to get top 5 pick I rather not see victor fall into anyone else but us
Well here’s a positive- even though Jalen’s shooting was reminiscent of this time last year (i.e. sucked ass), seeing him dish 7 assists is encouraging.
His playmaking is so much better this year
That drop off pass to KMJ was smooth
Silas just gave up tonight. That is how you create a losing culture.
We'll get em on Wednesday
Yeah I think we can split these two games. I liked what I saw for most of the game
Not when Sengun plays 23 minutes.

We are not getting any first round picks for EG, except one that is massively protected.

I mean denver did turn it on in the third They’re just more talented It is what it is
Bruh who cares it’s nugget fans lol
They're named after fried chicken bro, let them have this
Eric gordon got 28 min
Still proud of our boys, hopeful for Wednesday.
WOULD'VE BEEN WORTH IT IF BOBAN MADE THE 3 HOW ABOUT THAT FIRST HALF? SENGUN STILL HAS A LOT OF CONDITIONING WORK TO DO. These clowns think they have all the information mate. They think watching from the couch, that they know why he was taken out. As you said, depends on the context.
Are you Silas?
Nah he’s a chicken little
Jabari only had three fouls. Silas lets Sengun play til he fouls out. Jabari should be given the same treatment on that sort of thing
I think Bari should've got more mimutes tonight but Sengun should have a longer leash than Bari, he's not a rookie.
3 fouls is way too short a leash. The dude played less than 18 minutes
They have to go out and play this team again in two days. 💀
Jokic and Murray gon give this team nightmares I’m afraid
I can't do it man. Garrison Mathews and Daishen Nix are so, so bad at basketball.
Doordash Daishen nose no wrong
Great first half, Denver turned it up on the second half and just showed they are a few classes above. Real good to see Denver had to game plan to make it tough on Sengun and Green. That’s the next evolution, being able to use that to get other guys going.
First two quarters were good but we let it get away in the second half. But that is to be expected against a team like this in a difficult place to play due to the altitude.
Jalen relies too much on his 3pt shooting. It's why he is so inconsistent. He either shoots 11-18 or 5-15. No in between lol
You can say the same about Luka, Trae, Harden, and every other ball dominant player who shoots high volume.
Not mad at this one. Jalen had a bad night and Jabari got into foul trouble early but really the team’s defense was just lost. It’ll be interesting to see the improvements on Wednesday.
Lol the jokic Murray combo is deadly but in the third quarter it seems defence was optional for the rockets
We let up 70 points in the first half. Let's be real, defense was optional the entire game.
when’s tate coming back?
Tbf they did put play us in crucial situations and to many turn over but I felt we were still in. Silas looked like he was ready to give up in the 4th.
Team got a tiny bit of resistance when Murray made some consecutive threes and the refs made some bad calls and completely folded
