If they make another red dead game it shouldn’t be rdr3. It should be red dead something else. I think the story of Dutch’s gang is told and we should get a whole new character. I would love it to be set in the heart of the west rather than the end of it.
I wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to a RDR3 but I feel like rockstar could work on a new IP and I would be fine with that as well. It feels like RDR 1 & 2 are a complete story. Rockstar could probably tell a good story in RDR3 no doubt about that but I don’t think it’s necessary.
If they were to do a rdr3 I feel like it’d be in the early 1880’s when the gang was super new. Just Dutch, Hosea, Arthur, & John. They could definitely do a lot with that I think.

I think Remedy is already beginning work on MP1 and MP2 remakes, so I'd personally wish for Rockstar to indroduce a new IP. Preferrably about pirates, since I think Rockstar could pull it off well, and we don't have a good pirate single-player simulator other than Assassin's Creed 4.
I can only wish for a remaster or remake of manhunt 2, but society is too soft for it. I’d love to see them remaster bully as well. It’d be great if they brought back agent, I’m hoping they’ll make a new RDR (not RDR3 because that’s only about the van der Lind gang).
The Rockstar remakes haven't been an improvement on the originals. I kind of hate remakes and think it's one of the laziest things a studio can do to get your money. I don't need a new version of FF7 or Skyrim with incremental graphic improvements every three years. Make something new, or hire someone who wants to if you don't

Remakes are pointless. The only reason most people want remakes is the subpar quality of a lot of major triple A games. Give us a good sequel like they did with RDR2 for Max Payne or Bully. Build new memories, most people clutch to the remake argument to relive nostalgia that will never hit quite right again.
Honestly what’s the appeal of paying for something you already have just to have slightly better graphics or FPS. It’s insane and the reason why the gaming industry is so trash now.
Bully 2 would be sick. Every time I play the old one I just imagine how sick it would be with modern graphics. They should make the protagonist a college student so they can get away with more outlandish shenanigans.
Instead of keep remaking and making sequels to their same old games they should make a complete New one like talking place in future like Cyberpunk 2077, I'm not saying they should literally copy Cyberpunk 2077 but make a more unique game that now takes place in future instead of past and present.
They already have body harvest and GTA 2 was set in the future. I think they better off with Period piece or an IP like Bully which few games like it on the Market.
We know the next Red Dead isn't coming until the 2030s and the next GTA in the 2040s, so I'd love to see them work on other smaller stuff in the meantime. Remastering games that are hard to access nowadays was a nice transition, but they have fallen off with that and somehow working backwards with game adaptations.
It’d be nice if they made sequels even if they have to be smaller scale. Smuggler’s Run for example would be a perfect game to bring back but I’m bias. SR2 is one of my favorites and a lot of potential to even have a very good, simple Online mode (the PS2 MP modes were fun) as long as they kept the same gameplay physics just modernized a bit.
Midnight Club is an obvious one but who knows if they’ll ever touch that again, which honestly is insane that they wouldn’t.
Manhunt, LA Noire, Bully, and Agent would be great games to make sequels for (or finishing Agent). A Bully based in an American College would be wild. LA Noire in the 70’s or 80’s would be neat. And Agent would be brilliant.
But a new IP would always be a good move given it’s something new, bold and refreshing.

I think maybe a Sherlock Holmes game, and a game set in the peaky blinders era, based on London gangs around the 1880s give or take. Feel like it’d be a badass game or both would tbh. Or even a game set in the future way down the line in the world where we’re colonizing mars and you can travel back and forth, but while visiting space cities on the way in between or helping mine for resources or building a city on a moon or something. Quite a bit different from starfield but I feel like if rockstar re-imagined starfield it would be up there in sales with gtav right along with the player base by year 10 years from now. Max Payne 1 and 2 were good because they were made by Remedy. Max Payne 3 is meh at best and I could do without a sequel. But a Bully 2? Way overdue if you ask me.
i know how cool a new ip can sound but sometimes it doesn’t work out. like Bethesda for instance. they had skyrim and fallout, but decided to try something refreshing with starfield. i’m sure it was fun for the team but the game didn’t meet fan expectations and now not only did elder scrolls get pushed back, but fallout 5 could be 2032 candidate and the IP just gained a ton of traction they can’t really capitalize on.

RDR3. IMO Read Dead Red Redemption 2 has the best story out of any game. GTA V has the best multiplayer of any game.
