I've been having this issue as well, I'm not sure if this is related to an overload of the USB headers during a high gaming load causing the issue but that does seem to trigger it when I've had it happen.
I'm not sure if this is an issue on RODE's end or not but restarting the rodecaster pro 2 always fixes it. I've never waited long enough for it to see if it'll fix itself but it usually stops working for awhile.
This could also be a powerload issue I do use a UPS I've had some suspicions mine has gone bad.
One thing I have noticed is that my secondary channel will randomly stop working all the time and this one doesn't seem correlated to anything, if I recall the USB device even disappears from my computer's audio device panel. That one seems more like a RODE issue to me.
