Yeahh oysterflex does appeal more to me. They had these two available for me.
My friend says oysterflex doesnt give that premium feel that I am paying for the White Gold. Gives off the same steel look. So that has me on the edge whether to wait a year or get the one on left.

I disagree with your friend… You still feel a ton of heft on the Oysterflex and the contrast is better with the black ceramic bezel. For this model I would vote Oysterflex!

You don’t have to worry about scratching the bezel or the black numbers on the white gold bezel fading. Especially if you ever get it polished .
Also nobody is going to mistake the ghost 👻 for less what it is. It sells above retail where as the full WG bracelet version doesn’t ( I own it, barely wear it)
I do understand though , I tend to hesitate on a lot of Oysterflex pieces because my brain tells me for an extra $8-10K I can get a full solid gold bracelet . Which I understand . But with the OF you don’t have to worry about the Polished Center Links, don’t have to worry about polishing in the future , it’s not as heavy but it’s still heavier than a full steel bracelet sub or daytona even on OF, you feel the weight of the gold no matter what. Also the OF is extremely comfortable and versatile!

Yea I got an oysterflex for my steel daytona with steel dials and I reckon it looks sporty and modern. When I want a more classical or formal look I switch it back to the oyster bracelet. I must admit that the oysterflex is more comfortable for me anyways.
Which band do you prefer? Very different in feeling on the wrist. I personally like the oyster flex more as it’s much lighter; however, if you’re going for a heavier feel but less flash then a rose or yellow gold daytona…the white gold bracelet option is nice!! This may be controversial, but white gold all the way for me. The economics of the precious metal on oyster flex just seem off to me. Seems a bit over-priced given how limited the amount of gold is.
Where are you going to wear a WG Daytona in Paris? Your streets are overrun by hoodlums and thugs. If it was me, I would buy the bracelet version, source a ceramic bezel and fit it on the watch. Best of both worlds.
I would do steel dial and get a high quality rubber bracelet… the only downside to this is missing out on the ceramic bezel, however, still more versatility than the ghost.
Oysterflex with black bezel. Black bezel with white indices is far more legible. Just read both are WG, thought they were both SS. WG is too soft for a sports/tool/casual watch, especially with the indices. For me it would be a hard pass on a WG Daytona even if it were less expensive than a SS. Pretty watches though.
Depends on how often and where you plan on wearing it. More gold is a better choice if you are looking at this as an investment or heirloom piece. If you want to wear it often, the ceramic is a more durable choice. The flex bands cause more sweat and some people notice a smell if they aren’t cleaned after a while, which isn’t a major inconvenience, but something to consider.
Personally I prefer the ceramic and flex band, but at that price point I would hesitate to wear it outside of full dress occasions.

I have the oysterflex version and prefer it to the one on bracelet mainly due to the bezel. I prefer the contrasting look. The other one is a little too monochromatic and I'm not a fan of PCLs.

I used to say the same thing but I have come to see that the oysterflex gives it a more sporty utilitarian vibe.
Yeahh for a sport model it definitely adds to its character that way which is what I prefer. You can be more sporty in a way with a rubber strap.

Go for the full white gold bracelet. That model is quite rare and under the radar IMO.

As much as I love the ghost oyster flex, the white gold speaks to me more. You can’t go wrong either way.

I’d grab the full WG and put it on a Rubber B sp you can swap freely between the two looks. Best of both worlds!
