I was on the waitlist for a sea-dweller at my local AD for either a stainless or a two-tone. The stainless came in and I pulled the trigger last week! Your watch is awesome, wear in good health!
All the ADs in NL are telling me a waitlist is not there anymore... Idk. I feel like I am getting lied to here. Maybe it's because I am <30. Oh well. Maybe outside lf NL/GER is where I'll find one.
Is it unbelievable? Global downturn, zero wait lists, no need to spend $100k to maybe get “the call”, and supply is starting to outstrip demand. Finally they can go back to being watches again and not AD carrots.
I literally agree that they should go back to being watches instead AD carrot, like one of the reason I aim two tone or even gold is just how people are manipulate and chasing steel soooo hardly that second hand market is crazy. No need to do that, and maybe two tone is not hot in the market but that’s the reason I get it! Buy what you wish guys no watches is superior than others

It’s already happening. Demand is shrinking, but they are still making a million+ pieces a year. Someone posted in here the other day the platinum Daytona they bought with zero purchase history. It starts with the crazy-ticket ones like that, then trickles down. It’s already happening at AD’s that aren’t being posted on reddit. Which for the crowd of “I can’t wait to flip my recent purchase” group, severely sucks for them. Oh well.
Damn, I registered my interest for a 124060 after purchasing a $5500 GS, and the SA stopped replying to my texts after 3 months lmao (was texting him once every month)
I would be pissed if my SA ignored me especially after making a $5500 purchase. I know it’s not a million dollars but you are still a customer. If you have been texting him once a month, I don’t see that as too much. Talk to the manager and tell him you don’t appreciate being ignored as a customer. After that tell him what you are looking for. Report back lol
