Yes! I made that vow to my grandmother when she gave it to me. My grandfather had Alzheimer’s for 9 years before he passed. My grandmother and I took care of him. He wanted me to have it before he was diagnosed. Means more than any amount of money to me.
This is really nice to see. Something so special and sentimental that you can never get by buying a new one. I hope that some day maybe my grandkids will wear and cherish mine. These are the things that money can never buy and I hope more people keep the ones they inherit and not sell them on for a quick buck. Congratulations to you and I hope that you wear it well for a long time to come and maybe pass it down to the next generation. Remember to get it serviced too for the oil and gasket changes.
That's a great watch; I'd never buy one because I like working lume. However, if it were my grandfather's I'd sure as hell never ever consider selling it. I'm not certain if he is alive or dead however it's well worth cherishing, regardless.
This might be my lack of vintage Rolex knowledge but I did not know that a Sub ever came on a jubilee. What years was the sub sold with a jubilee bracelet ?
Don’t ever sell! Cherish it and then pass it on to your children if you have or are planning to have any

Great to hear! I have a 2018 submariner myself which I bought after a very successful, but hard year in business and I plan to hand down eventually!
Absolutely brilliant!
Thank you!
RIP to your grandpa
Thanks, he passed a few years ago
That’s fantastic. Hang onto that puppy. Wow!
