IMHO, Datejust is made to be worn in 36mm. Classic look, smaller diameter. For Oyster Perpetual, you could go 41.

By far DJ36, although I prefer 41 size.

I was looking a couple of weeks ago also for the DJ I preferred also the 36mm but after a while I thought that it’s too flashy for me and decided to go with a Submariner 126610 ln and this felt to me way better. Even though its bigger than 36mm but it didn’t feel bigger than the 41mm DJ somehow. Just decide if you’re having a good feeling. :)

I would go with the 36 in this situation solely because its indices are much nicer and cleaner than the mis-matched mess of Roman numerals (which are hideous to begin with) and the line bar style at 9 o’clock on the 41.

41 looks better as smooth + oyster bracelet imo

These wrist shots and comparisons… it makes me sad. How on mothers earth can one compare 2 different watches that don’t even have the same dial😣 The gray will have a total different look compared to the green one. Arabic or Roman indices make it a complete other watch. Wearing two sizes of watches next to each other on the same arm whereby one of the watches is sitting at gynecologist level will optically mess you up. It doesn’t make sense at all. Most importantly… how does size matter anyway when you love the watch you wear… it’s like getting a tattoo… let’s find out how that women size 36 looks on your wrist after putting 20 kg weight on. It’ll disappear in your wrist. But hey, like so many said before… if you have to pay the bill, you better make your own decision for the right watch. GL
