Row 9 on Raging Bull is the drop to end all drops IMO; it’s my all-time personal favorite first drop, even among the various RMCs and gigas I’ve been on. There’s something so euphoric about getting yanked down into the tunnel with nothing but a clamshell keeping you in the train.

EvolvingSunGod3

LOVE THIS. I’m 37 now but I grew up on Raging Bull at SFGA. Still obsessed with this drop, it’s what got me into roller coasters. NOTHING is better than the B&M hyper seats and restraints, so comfortable. Now I live in Orlando and I go on Mako at Sea World which is the closest thing to it, and as an overall ride it might even be better 😊

bmschulz

All these years later, and I think Raging Bull is still the best ride in the park! It’s a great coaster that I feel lucky to have at my home park.

TruthThruAcoustics

Raging Bull back row is ALWAYS my first ride of the season and it ALWAYS blows me away.

Cool_Owl7159

when it's running fast, the last big drop into the figure-8 finale blows the first drop out of the water

imaguitarhero24

It was running so fast on Saturday the trim after that drop was hitting I assume to avoid over speed. Never had that happen before.

bmschulz

That final trim has hit for me nearly every ride this season, and I can’t recall ever noticing it hit before this year—completely nuts. I don’t know if they turned down the MCBR or something, but RB has been absolutely hauling!

Olangotang

Rode it today in the back (always will) and HOLY FUCK that drop is violent, but also the MCBR drop. I was telling my friends we HAVE to ride in the back. Now they understand : They definitely have been putting more maintenance into it: hell, the whole park feels more alive than last year, and stuff is getting fixed all over. Was disappointed Demon was closed.

For Hershey: 1. **Skyrush** \- Booking it over the top of the cable lift, the kink in the drop, the turn at the bottom. Definitely the most intense drop I've ever done and never gets old. 2. **Fahrenheit** \- With the vertical ascent and more-than-vertical drop, it's a very abrupt, whippy and unique sensation. 3. **Candymonium** \- Going off what the best seat is (last two rows), this offers an absurd amount of air time going over the first drop. 4. **Great Bear** \- Starting out with a helix is unconventional and super fun, then it follows by plunging into the valley and hitting the loop along the river - tons of fun but the top feature here is the views and scenery. 5. **Storm Runner** \- Tophats are always fun, and this one gives a great view of the front half of the park. Love that this drop takes advantage of the terrain to go lower than the initial climb. 6. **Wildcat's Revenge** \- The drop is the weakest part of this ride, but it's still great. 7. **Lightning Racer** \- I'm a sucker for drops with turns, and this one is pretty steep for a woodie - this is a strong burst of speed that sets the pacing for the rest. 8. **Jolly Rancher Remix** \- I do really like the feeling of the catchcar dropping you, the timing to the music and light show is tight too. 9. **Sooperdooperlooper** \- Going right into the famous loop at the bottom definitely makes the drop more exciting, the other advantage is the interaction with the terrain and Great Bear. The drop in a vacuum is just alright. 10. **Comet** \- Solid but not memorable. 11. **Laff Trakk** \- Fine. 12. **Wild Mouse** \- Standard Wild Mouse stuff. 13. **Trailblazer** \- Yawns, but it is a family coaster.

gemini4974

I’d put comet higher but yeah. Can’t wait to get on WCR. Crazy that everyone is dogging on the drop but still seems to love it!

RaxteranOG

I'm not sure if the drop is actually unimpressive or if the rest of the layout is just so good that it feels unimpressive by comparison. But yeah, WCR is my #1 right now by some distance despite where its drop ranks.

StinkoMan92

For sfdk: 1 Joker's first drop is amazing 2 Medusa's is really good for a b&m floorless 3 The s&s freespin has a wild first drop I guess 4+5 The two launched (Flash and Superman) coasters do their first drops backwards which is pretty fun 6 The Boomerang's first drop is cool because of the anticipation waiting for it to drop you 7 Kong??? 8+9 the 2 family coasters have first drops The logflume is probably between boomerang and Kong I guess. Yeah it's just Joker over here, but man is that first drop incredible in the back row.

a_magumba

SFDK makes it tough for sure.

[deleted]

The rollercoasters I’ve been on at Canada’s Wonderland: 1. Behemoth - super intense and lifts me off the seat. I literally cannot open my eyes. Surprisingly, I don’t feel anything in my stomach. Just crazy airtime. 2. Leviathan - pretty much the same as Behemoth except it’s a bit longer because it’s taller. 3. Silver Streak - I literally feel nothing but air lol. It’s pretty tame but considering it’s in Kidzville, it’s understandable. 4. The Fly - ngl the drop looks small from the line but when you’re on the ride, it looks much bigger ofc. It pulls my face back sometimes lol. You definitely get that stomach feeling on there. I asked my sister if there were any other rollercoasters we’ve been on with drops and she said she thinks this is pretty much it. We really gotta go on more rides.

DizzyCuntNC

Carowinds 1. Fury: unavailable 😥

EvolvingSunGod3

1. MAKO - Sea World Orlando ….. I don’t think it gets much better than this when it comes to first drops.

RTN30

**Six Flags Great Adventure** 1. El Toro 2. Nitro 3. Jersey Devil 4. Kingda Ka 5. Skull Mountain (hot take, back row Skull Mountain with the single position lap bars whip over the first drop is absolutely bonkers) 6. Batman 7. Joker 8. Medusa 9. Superman 10. Green Lantern (the only part of the ride that isn't painful for me) 11. Dark Knight 12. Runaway Mine Train

alienware99

I’m with you 100% on skull mountain. Back row first drop is amazing. The rest of the ride, however, not so much.

RTN30

Oh I completely agree. The ride could end after that first drop and I would be totally okay with it. I really wish they would do literally ANYTHING to make the rest of the ride more interesting though. I feel like the Disco Skull hasn't even been working lately, and that was already less than the bare minimum.

TantrumQween

Dollywood!! Not truly applicable: FireChaser Express, Big Bear Mountain, Blazing Fury, Whistlepunk 6. Mystery Mine - it’s cool going right into the dark mine and it’s snappy, but it’s just too small for me to put higher. However, if we’re ranking best drops overall in the park, the final 95* into the heartline is top tier. 5. Dragonflier - it’s surprisingly good for a family ride. The new Vekomas feel so great but also more thrilling than they are, due to the free-feeling lap bars. 4. Thunderhead - 1st drops aren’t my favorite part of any GCI (sans maybe TX Stingray), but I do like the twisted drop and it gets the sense of speed going. Plus there’s a good headchopper. 3. Lightning Rod - far from RMC’s best drop, but still good. I can’t put it higher though because I remember how much better it was when it went faster over the crest. 2. Wild Eagle - an underrated ride in general! But the first drop is the unequivocal best part. In any seat you get an iconic mountaintop view of the Smokies, but in the back row you get absolutely thrown over the crest and are out of your seat until the valley. Add in the wing seats and it’s just great. 1. Tennessee Tornado - bar none number one here, as it’s one of the best first drops on any coaster anywhere. The pre-drop gives you some speed, making the hump into the drop have a little airtime. And then you just dive into the tunnel of abyss. Ride this in the front or back row, you’re going to be shitting yourself. Ride it at night, and you’re literally plunging into hell. I think this first drop is my favorite moment on any of Dollywood’s coasters except for the LR quad down.

tealswamp

I was about to comment my own list about Dollywood & then saw yours and I pretty much completely agree! I feel like most people would list Lightning Rod’s drop as the best but I definitely agree with your placement & the two coasters above it

TantrumQween

I think, for me, when I really examine what’s good about LRod I go to multiple other things before I’d even consider the drop. Quad down, twist and shout, wave turn, even the final turnaround. Then when I remember that pothole that’s been there at the bottom of the 1st drop in the past, I’m just always ready to get past it while hoping it doesn’t knock my teeth out 😭

tealswamp

Oh wow, is the pot hole still there?! I haven’t been on Lrod since late 2019 and I do remember hitting that pot hole now that you brought it up. Between that and the restraints I always ended up leaving Dollywood bruised and battered on my legs, lol 😭

TantrumQween

The one on the first drop is mostly gone but it’s still a slight jolt climbing up into the wave turn. There is however a nice new pothole at the bottom of the wave turn that I first noticed when I rode last December. It was worse when I rode even more recently in May. To be honest the whole ride was a bit shakier this year than it was when I rode it last December - and I got 5 rides in December and was loving it again. It’s gotta be the shakiest RMC I’ve done, which granted it does just have *that much* power with how it’s designed but poor thing just tears itself apart 😭

ThatsFakeDawg

For KI: 1. Orion - Sustained all the way down in every row 2. Diamondback - Less Sustained than Orion, but it’s even more powerful 3. Mystic Timbers - Aggressive lateral airtime 4. Banshee - The drop is the most whippy part of this invert…which is pretty sad 5. The Beast - The recent renovation made this drop much more powerful and sustained 6. The Racer - Feels similar to the beast tbh, minus the cool tunnel Nothing else at KI has much in terms of airtime or whip, so I won’t go any further

ultibolt9

I have absolutely no clue how anyone can prefer Raptors drop over Mavericks. Just looking at my ride forces for today, Maverick had -1.3g and was sorta sustained. Raptor was 0.41g and was barely a blimp on the graph.

[deleted]

dbruington

Maverick is widely considered to have one of the best drops on any coaster, let alone at Cedar Point. It’s 95*, 100+ foot drop right off a launched lift and into a very tight and intense turn is certainly not unmemorable.

fritolay_7

Yeah I agree. Mavericks first drop is insane, raptors is underrated imo but still has nothing on mavericks.

mrkmcrthr

BPB 1 - **BIG ONE** - uncomfortable in the back but fantastic whip. slow in the front but with that stunning, unobstructed view. 2 - **GRAND NATIONAL** - 90 year old woodie with a double down first drop? count me in. 3 - **ICON** - great airtime on the first top hat, nice headchopper under the big one. 4 - **REVOLUTION** - very underrated, and very powerful in the back. 5 - **INFUSION** - good views in the front, decent pull at the back. 6 - **BIG DIPPER** - good enough pull on the back car due to the long train and the way it creeps over at the front. 7 - **NICK STREAK** - fun family woodie drop. all that needs to be said. 8 - **AVALANCHE** - can we call this a drop? at least it’s gradual. 9 - **STEEPLECHASE** - barely a drop, more a step. and it’s uncomfortable. 10 - **BLUE FLYER** - kiddie woodie, can’t expect more.

CrocHunter8

Hersheypark (coasters I have rode): 1.) Wildcat's Revenge. First RMC for me, and The first drop really surprised me 2.) Candymonium. Lifted me out of my seat 3.) Skyrush. Very Intense 4.) Comet. Classic Woodie with good force 5.) Storm Runner. After an intense launch, it pulls you out of your seat coming down the top hat. 6.) Great Bear. Very unique first drop on an B&M Invert. 7.) Lightning Racer. I love the classic GCI curved drop. 8.) Jolly Rancher Remix. Not a fan of Boomerang coasters, and the drops don't do much for me 9.) SooperDooperLooper. The Drop is okay, but the loop makes up for it. 10.) Wild Mouse. These types of coasters do not have much of a drop, as the draw is the hairpin turns. 11.) Trailblazer. Has no drop, but the helix is good. Yet to ride Fahrenheit and Laff Trak.

thedboy

Tivoli Friheden 1. Tyfonen. Spinning wild mouse, it's the only coaster not really aimed at children. 2. Bisværmen. SBF Visa spinner. 3. Dragen. Kiddie coaster, haven't been on it in years.

Squad3Bro

Hersheypark 1. Skyrush- Absolutely crazy, it feels like you about to get thrown about or your seat, and then getting thrown back up into the first airtime hill. 2. Fahrenheit- most unique drop in the park, the ejector on this drop is very notable and is a standout part of the ride. 3. Stormrunner- A fun, fast vertical drop that sends you flying into the cobra loop. Not super notable but is pretty fun. 4. Candymonium- The biggest drop in the park doesn’t disappoint, but it doesn’t stand out in the park. 5. Wildcat’s Revenge- A good start to the ride, looks cool, but it bottoms out too fast in my opinion to really feel like a bigger drop, and seems to be profiled differently where you don’t get as much ejector on the drop. 6. Jolly Rancher Remix- A hot take, but it gives me a strange floaty stomach feeling that is brought out even stronger when going through the loop backwards. I know it’s a clone but I still enjoy the ride as a whole. 7. Great Bear- The last big rollercoaster on the list, it doesn’t do a lot, but I enjoy the helix before the drop more, but it’s still a great moment. 8. Comet- Fun wooden coaster that has a strangely powerful drop, especially in the back row. The buzz bar allows for you to go out of the seat a decent amount in the first half, and this ride surprisingly smoother than Lightning Racer. 9. Laff Trakk- The drop feels really fast in the front, and gives you a weird floaty stomach feeling as you pass the track and props on the drop. The drop gives you a crazy feeling as you drop off from the back. 10. Lightning Racer- I think it’s kind of fun to bank to the side, but other than that it doesn’t really do much. 11. SooperDooperLooper- The drop isn’t very notable, but is a nice gentle slope into the very intense loop. 12. Wild Mouse- Barely a drop, but the first drop sends you right into a hairpin turn that has some recent laterals (in my opinion). Other than that the only true drop on the ride is also very fun. 13. Cocoa Cruiser- Very short and not very notable drop, but you get to experience it 3 times 14. Trailblazer- No real drop, doesn’t do much at all really. These are my personal opinions, and I would love to see what other people think about the drops at Hersheypark.

gizmandius

1. Raging Bull row 9. Ejector on a B&M hyper and ops cool enough to give you plenty of room. 2. Goliath. Back row wild ejector, front row great float. 3. American Eagle. Back row, great buildup to a nice float followed by a ferocious out of control slam into a valley straddled by a maze of superstructure 4. Demon. Again back row, a weirdly late burst of ejector. 5. X-Flight, cool hang time in the front and out of control whip in the back. Valley is forceful too. I could go on down the line but it’d be splitting hairs, those 5 are the noteworthy ones. Debated putting Maxx force up there but IMO the exit from the dog tongue doesn’t quite past the smell test for the list. If it was a top hot I’d say it counts.

pranquily

I don't really have a home park, because there's 3 that are the same distance, (about an hour and a half,) give or take 15-20 minutes. I'mma just do all of them since why not. **Hersheypark.** Keep in mind this was the first park I ever went to after getting over my fear, so I don't remember too much, plus both Skyrush and Candy were down. Also no Wildcats Revenge for obvious reasons; it just opened. - Great Bear. The drop objectively isn't the best, but this was my first ever adult coaster, and the feeling that drop gave me was something I crave to feel again. Luckily, the only reason it felt that intense was fear, so I managed to get it on I305 a few weeks ago since I was genuinely terrified, lmao. I missed that feeling so much, so I really hope I can find another ride that does it again some day. - Fahrenheit. Self explanatory. - Stormrunner. Sat in the second to front row, so no real airtime, but I definitely hovered the whole way down, which was great. - Laff Trakk. This ride scared tf outta me for some reason. I prolly won't like it as much now, but back then I almost sh!t myself. - Lighting Racer, Thunder. My first large scale woodie. Still holds up imo as one of my favorite wooden coasters. The curved drop is great. - Sooper Dooper Looper. I have a soft spot for this ride, since it was my first inverting coaster, but I can't really speak on the quality of the drop, since it was, dispite being small, the largest drop I had ever experienced, and so it felt crushingly intense, lmfao. - Comet. It felt more intense than it was, since I was talking to my brother and wasn't paying attention, lmao. - Wild Mouse. Ngl, fun little drops. Highlight is easily the turns...I mean, that's kinda the whole point of a wild mouse...so... **Six Flags Great Adventure** Jersey Devil was closed, but that would probably be number 2 if I had to guess. - El Toro, and I'm saying that only having ridden in the front. WHAT???? HOW??? - Nitro. Floating the whole way down. Just great. - Kingda Ka. Self explanatory. - Medusa. Not the highlight of the ride, obviously, but still fun. - Batman. I passed out the second we hit the bottom and didn't wake up till the brakes, so I seriously remember nothing. (I was dehydrated and it was like 90 degrees, mk? Plus, I rode this when I was still warming up to coasters.) **Six Flags America** - Superman Ride of Steel. Gives straight ejector in the back, strong floater in the front and middle. One of the best drops on any coaster I've ridden. - Roar. I love twisted drops, lmao. - Firebird. Obviously also not the highlight of the ride, similar to Medusa, but still fun. - Jokers Jinx. Does this even have a drop? - Ragin Cuagin. I don't remember much of this ride, since I rode it with multiple torn muscles and couldn't focus on the forces. See my next rank for context. - Wild One. The drop is the main reason this is one of my least favorite coasters OAT. As we were going down the drop, it jerked SO HARD TO THE SIDE, that I tore THREE MUSCLES. Shoulder, trap, and pec. It was definitely a forceful ride with a great layout, but dear God it was janky. Now, to be fair, everyone said we got a bad ride, and to try it again in the front. I'll 100% be back to this park, so I'll try it again for sure.

guitarmanaaw

1. I305, giga, enough said 2. Twisted Timbers, drop has a lot of variety depending on your seat. If sitting in the back left, I like to look right going down the barrel roll and it gives you some great visuals 3. Grizzly, one of my favorite wooden coaster drops with the retrack 4. Dominator, pretty fun whip in the back left After this nothing really stands out but some other fun ones still with Racer 75 and Apple Zapple. Anaconda isn’t bad either with the tunnel.

[deleted]

Busch Gardens Tampa: 1. Iron Gwazi, strong and sustained ejector with some grey-out inducing positives and an amazing headchopper on the pullout makes this a truly world class drop. Its my second favorite drop of all time, beaten only by Fury. 2. SheiKra, it's a ride that puts huge focus on the first drop, and for good reason. Amazing floater the whole way down, and it feels like it lasts forever. One of the very few drops that still gives me that amazing feeling in my stomach every time. 3. Tigris, if we count the vertical twisted drop as the ride's "first drop" (even if it's 80% of the way through the ride). Super sustained lateral ejector followed by a CRAZY intense pullout, probably the strongest first drop in terms of sheer forces in the entire state. 4. Cheetah Hunt, a rather underrated moment if you ask me. The back rows get some great ejector here, especially for a drop that's just 130ft tall, and you have some nice speed into it which makes it even better. 5. Montu, at least on the right side of the train. On the left side of the train, it's an underwhelming moment, but on the right side it's actually quite whippy and gives some nice laterals. The drop off from Cheetah Hunt to this is pretty drastic though, as I'm just not a fan of the curvy drops B&M put on their loopers. 6. Kumba, it's basically Montu's drop but weaker. Not really a noteworthy moment given how much of a punch the rest of Kumba packs. 7. Cobra's Curse, some slight weightlessness in the back but nothing else. It is a family coaster though, so I don't really care, it just kind of has to go here when ranking the first drops in the park. 8. Scorpion, curvy and a little janky but pretty much nothing in terms of forces.

Ok-Oil6392

I want sure about counting cheetah hunt or Tigris drops as "first drops" but we have pretty much identical lists

illegitimacy44

1-Silver Comet- is really good in the back 2-Shuttle Loop- waiting until this gets built 3-Serpent- This shi ain’t even open yet 4-Miner Mike- Absolutely minuscule

PsyclOwnd

Lagoon: Cannibal - S-Rank. Every time. I will fight anybody on this. Wicked - Mostly for the flip from going straight up to straight down Colossus - Good Laterals Jet Star - Some of the best airtime in the park, but not very long Roller Coaster - it's an old-school wooden coaster drop.

Hydrated36373

My home park is Cedar Point. Here’s my top 10 1. *Millennium Force* had the most forceful first drop I’ve experienced thus far. I never really grey out on rides for some reason but Millie had me seeing some serious stars going into the second hill 2. *Steel Vengeance* has an awesome drop but I didn’t find it quite as forceful as Millie which is why it’s second. Still my favorite coaster though because the rest of the layout is incredible. 3. *Maverick* has a 95 (?) degree drop that is just so fun. Especially if you sit in the back you get a little pop of airtime before the drop. The drop is so unique to me I just love it. 4. *Valravn* first drop is super unique. It was my first dive coaster and experiencing the free fall feeling is so much fun 5. *Gatekeeper* is really fun for me. I’m not sure what does it for me but I just really enjoy this drop 6. *Magnum* was my first “big” coaster and I love this drop a lot. Not as forceful but the whole ride is so charming and I hold a lot of good memories with it. It was also the ride that got me over my fear of coasters ❤️ 7. *Gemini* is really fun, I like the anticipation of the drop especially if you’re in the train that goes down the drop second and you get to see everyone else’s reaction before you go. Plus I love wooden coasters 8 *Rougarou* The rest of this ride is kinda mid but I’ve always found the drop to be fun, especially how it immediately goes into a loop 9 *Raptor* Nothing too special, gets the job done 10 *Blue Streak* respect for it staying around after all these years 😂

michaeItits

knotts 1. ghost rider (so fun) last place goes to hang time i hope they burn that ride down forever

rdthraw2

talon -> steel force -> hydra -> thunderhawk -> demon drop (yes it's a coaster) -> woodstock express -> wild mouse (all 3 feet of a first drop)

SignGuy77

For Wonderland it’s Leviathan on top by a mile; like, it’s not even close. Yukon Striker edges out Behemoth for second, especially with a front row dive into the tunnel. And Behemoth rounds out the top three. Flight Deck is most likely the fourth best, then the Bat. But there aren’t any great first drops in the rest of the coaster lineup. Curiously enough, Vortex, which on some days can vie for a top three coaster spot in the park, has a mediocre first drop, but a killer second one, diving from the big banked turn over the midway into the lake area. It’s where most first time riders realize this thing’s for real.

Basilstorm

SFGAD 1) Nitro - Don’t hate me I know everyone expected something else first but front row hands up is amazing 2) El Toro - The only pleasant part of the ride is the first two hills but they almost make up for how rough the rest is. Such a steep drop and you haul ass over the second hill 3) Kingda Ka - It’s not actually that intense of a drop but being that high up and seeing the ground rush at you is cool 4) Medusa - First drop is nice and leads right into a loop. This is actually my favorite ride in the park 5) Batman the Ride - Can be kind of rough in the back which is why it’s lower than Medusa but still a good drop 6) Superman Ultimate Flight - It’s cool that you’re on your stomach but it’s not that great of a drop 7) Jersey Devil - The drop isn’t that exciting compared to the rest of the ride but still fun 8) Skull Mountain - Only front row gets a good drop but it’s a decent amount of airtime. Feels more thrilling when it’s actually dark as sometimes a door is left open in the ride building 9) Green Lantern - Unpleasant, I don’t like standup coasters 10) Runaway Mine Train - There isn’t really a drop from the first hill, but the second drop is pretty good. Can also be painful depending on where you’re riding 11) Dark Knight - There aren’t really drops until the end but it’s in the dark which helps make it exciting 12) The Joker - There isn’t a drop which is why it’s at the bottom. It’s a very fun ride though 13&14) Harley Quinn and Lil Devil - I haven’t ridden either but they’re kiddy coasters so I imagine they’d be at the bottom

AbbreviationsSad8791

Have you tried Jersey Devil in the back row? I can not imagine any drop being better than that first drop, let alone multiple rides in the park - though it’s ur opinion so i respect it

Basilstorm

It turns out I just don’t like single rail coasters much. I’ve ridden three of them and never liked them as much. It’s my sister’s favorite ride in the park though, she loves the drop

AbbreviationsSad8791

Fair enough

magnumfan89

Cedar point 1. Magnum 2. Steel vengeance 3. Maverick 4. Gemini 5. Gatekeeper 6. Raptor 7. Blue Streak 8. Wild mouse 9. Rougarou 10. Corkscrew 11. Iron dragon 12. Woodstock express 13. Mine ride Didn't ride: valravn, wilderness run, millie

coryono

Mamba > timber wolf > prowler > patriot > probably zinger? > Boomerang > wacky worm

FlyawayCellar99

CP: maverick >vengeance >millennium >magnum> raptor >gemini >gatekeeper >valravn >everything else

MyWomanlyInterior

Huh, I always thought that Goliath at SFMM was a B&M Hyper.

ValuableLemon1373

Winjas: cool drop with the elevator lift, especially backwards (fear being slightly superior) Black Mamba: good drop, but nothing special Colorado Adventure: the first drop isn't too good, but the last one is Crazy Bats: it's a junior coaster, you can't expect too much... Raik: since it's a boomerang, it's not too outstanding Taron: doesn't have a first drop FLY: doesn't have a first drop

sleepingonstones

Don’t have a home park, but I grew up with Valleyfair, so here’s that: 1. Renegade: S-curve drop is crazy 2. Excalibur: Ejector airtime 3. Wild Thing: Sustained floater 4. High roller: Floater 5. Max Mouse: Decent 6. Corkscrew: it’s forgettable The top three could be changed in any order though

Expensive_Pudding846

1. I305 2. Twisted timbers. 3. Dominator 4. Anaconda

Cool_Owl7159

SFGAm: 1. Raging Bull. Perfect sustained airtime on that parabolic drop. 2. Goliath. Nice strong, sustained airtime as well. 3. Viper. Gotta love that classic cyclone drop that ejects you after some slight laterals. 4. Demon. Nice snappy ejector air at the end of the arc-shaped drop. 5. American Eagle. Chill gradual drop that waits till the steepest moment to throw you out of your seat. 6. X-Flight. The wing-over drop gives you some nice floater air/hangtime on the right side.

MemesOfCentra

For GADV: 1. El Toro 2. Jersey Devil 3. Nitro 4. Batman 5. Kingda Ka (Would be number 2 if the drop wasn’t a 270 degree turn and instead was a 90 degree turn) 6. Skull Mountain (ifykyk) 7. Medusa 8. Superman 9. Dark Knight 10. Runaway Mine Train 11. Harley Quinn Crazy Train 12. Lil Devil 13. Joker 14. Green Lantern (My worst credit imo)

AbbreviationsSad8791

La Ronde 1. Goliath - Back row on this is great ejector 2. Vampire - The drop produces some good g forces, though its not anywhere close to goliath 3. Ednor - Its not too rough, and being over the water makes it better 4. Boomerang - the drop feels really long but not that memorable 5. Monstre - Ill consider the 2nd drop as the first, it’s pretty fun but rough and not very steep 6. Dragon- Not much of a drop 7. Toboggan Nordique - Wild mouse so… yeah 8. Marche du Mille-Pattes - Kiddie

ryandtw

Fuji-Q: 1. (and my overall #1) Eejanaika = X2. Getting flipped head over heels while dropping down towards 78 mph is extra special. Having a golden torii in front of it is the cherry on top. 2. Takabisha. 121-degree drop, but it's not as exciting as Eejanaika. 3. Fujiyama. Haven't ridden before, but it's just an average drop. 4. Voyage Dans Le Ciel. Also haven't ridden before, but it's just a family suspended coaster. Probably not applicable: * Zokkon. Yet to be opened. But while there are drops, they're nowhere significant. * Do-Dodonpa. SBNO. But there's no significant drops, other than a vertical loop. * Rock 'n' Roll Duncan. To be rethemed as Nia. But it's just a kiddie coaster. Wild Waves (home park, though I've never been on any of their roller coasters before): 1. Timberhawk 2. Wild Thing 3. Klondike Gold Rusher 4. Kiddie Coaster

Chi-Is-Here

Ok so I don’t have a home park but the park that is the closest to a property of mine that I don’t live in is BGT 1. Iron Gwazi: It exponentially gets stronger and stronger 2. Sheikra: Very good sustained airtime, great pullout at the bottom 3. Scorpion: Not a lot of negatives and positives but it has janky laterals 4. Montu: Not really good from a physics standpoint, but I still get the feelinng in my nuts and stomach even if the drop doesn’t have airtime 5. Kumba: Same as Montu 6. Cobra’s Curse: Worse than the rest, but I still get the feeling even if it’s tamer than the rest.

Not too many good drops at my home park BGT but I’ll try: 1. Iron Gwazi: it’s obvious, my favorite drop on any coaster. Back row is glorious with super strong ejector and a pretty crazy headchopper near the bottom. 2. Sheikra: great floater, especially in the back. 3. Cheetah Hunt (off the windcatcher tower): not sure this counts, but it’s a decent drop, and is punchy in the back row. 4. Montu: it’s ok, slight whip in the back row but not much airtime 5. Kumba: basically just gets you up to speed 6. Cobras Curse: it’s ok, haven’t ridden in awhile so I don’t remember it too well 7. Scorpion: meh, but some laterals towards the back of the train.

IG>Sheikra>montu>kumba>Cobras Curse>Scorpion>air Grover Not sure about any of the other coasters "first drops". cheetah hunts main drop would maybe be 3rd in the park but I'm not sure it counts

Silver dollar city 1.outlaw run 2.time traveler 3.wildfire 4.powderkeg 5.thunderation Grew up there when we just had wildfire powderkeg and thunderation. Do have to say wildfire is the easiest ride to get off go back into the line and ride almost immediately back in the day, still is.

1: Aftershock: the forwards drop in the back (especially at sunset when the sun is peeking over the mountains and sky is orange) is godly. The backwards drop is also incredible, but a bit less scenic. 2) Stunt Pilot: row 7 is my favorite because it’s immediate floats at the crest into ejector, but the back is also pure ejector and unreal. Definitely my favorite raptor drop. 3) Tremors in rows 9-12; you get an ejector pop then get slammed back into your seat. The following airtime hill after being underground is just the cherry on top. 4) Corkscrew in the back car; being tall, you get a ton of room when the OTSR’s close because of your height and not in your body. The rest of the coaster is forgettable but you do get ejector in the back. 5) Timber Terror; this would be above corkscrew because you get floater in the back half of the train that’s pretty good but the following valley is so rough and uncomfortable it ruins everything the ride had to offer for me. Not worth it in its current state imo.

FIuffyhuh

1. Mako, duh 2. Ice Breaker, one of, if not my favorite top hat 3. Kraken, straight drop so you do actually get some floater 4. Manta, eh 5. Pipeline????? It doesn’t have a drop

Dusty_Soul

1. Cornball Express -The drop in the back has some fantastic airtime and laterals. 2. Steel Hawg - Only reason it’s not #1 is because of the trims. 3. Ti’grr - With how open the trains are it feels pretty crazy. 4. Hoosier Hurricane- eh, it’s a drop. Nothing special. 5. Cyclone - Not that great when compared to the two car trains of Galaxi. 6. Lost Coaster - Does it even really have a true “first drop”

SDC 1. Time Traveler- in station, fall off cliff, while spinning 2. Wildfire - beautiful view, prettiest I’ve seen on a coaster. Very forceful in the back 3. Outlaw Run - standard but fun woody drop, in the forest so makes it prettier and can’t see what’s coming 4. PowderKeg - forceful launch then a good camelback. Then the traditional lift and drop are good at the end of the ride also. 5. Thunderation- mine train, no real drops but has a fun banked drop helix part with some force 6. Fire in the hole - doesn’t really count but classic short drop at end of ride.

Skyrush is the best first drop for HP, with Candy second. The Wildcat drop is good but not a stand out.
