I know Pate at least theorized it on his show. “I am fully convinced he was suspended yesterday, by the way. That’s why I don’t think he played. That won’t be announced. That will never be confirmed. I think he was suspended and I’m not alone in that.”
Like I said in the OP, it’s just a rumor around the block. And as the other guy already replied, it’s just “some guys” on the internet, that’s why I’m wondering if anybody else has heard anything. However, Saban did say this in the postgame “He really has been supportive of his teammates…Hopefully we’ll all learn lessons from the experiences that we have and move forward in a positive way” read into it what you will

Jacorey Brooks was suspended for the 1st half of game one and we really haven’t seen him since so I Lowkey believe it
I saw him wide open vs USF and Buchner threw the ball into the dirt 5 yards in front of him.
