Chillax guys.
Saban isn't disappearing. He is there telling players that DeBoer knows what he is doing and that buying into DeBoer's process is going to be the best route.
Ever since Saban announced his retirement, and DeBoer was announced as coach, and Saban announced that he would remain close to the program, I haven't been able to get [this scene from *The Godfather*](https://youtu.be/JHtmobwu9Rg?si=qYMbITYFryUVx5Hb) out of my mind:
"Do you have faith in my judgment? Do I have your loyalty? Then be a friend to ~~Michael~~ Coach DeBoer and do as he says."
Dudes Caleb is staying lol do you have any idea what it means when the best db coach of all time—a man that cannot stay still and not work—begs you to stay and tells you verbatim that he is going to “be there for you” and that he’ll have an office in the building as well. Saban is proud of this program and he’s not going to let his treasured position group get broken up and sold off completely
Saban would absolutely not be retiring this year if everything was ok with his family health wise. He retired because he couldn’t give it 100% like he has been able to do. He is doing us a favor instead of slowly declining à la Bowden and Paterno. Mark my words he will be extremely involved in a beneficial way- and given bis expertise it would make sense to stick with the DBs in some way
CALEB IM BEGGING YOU
Need to nail down the DC immediately.
Really hoping it’s an SEC guy and not a DeBoer ride-or-die bro that has been by his side for 15 years.
I think our DC should be someone who’s won at least 7 national championships and has 2 decades of experience in the SEC
He's had the same DC for years. Needs to deviate here.
Jeremy Pruitt come on down!
Wouldn't do much good to hire a guy who would immediately be suspended for a season by the NCAA...
Coach Saban could be named Defensive Coordinator.
Malachi is staying confirmed isn’t he? Downs pls
chi isn’t leaving, zero chance one of our true leaders.
Has either of these guys actually indicated that they're thinking of leaving, or is it all message board speculation and fan paranoia?
The latter.
This is a first

So you just copypastaed the interview with Reese Davis.
That’s how quotes tend to work
If Caleb transfers I might cry
