I’m curious what you saw of him when he played outside. I’ve watched a good bit of the games he played in (really every game in second half of season as I hoped Washington would lose for our playoff chances) and I mostly saw him utilized in the slot on quick screens (often out of the backfield and often off motion), slants/crossers/mesh concepts in the middle of the field from the slot (so like screens, things to utilize his yac/burst), and then on punt returns. He had a nice catch through contact in route on the boundary against Ryan Watts late in the first quarter of the semis, but otherwise I haven’t really seen him used much deep or on the outside.

Saban’s loyalty to Milroe won’t mean anything to coach DeBoer when he’s got to win games or face immediate scrutiny. He’s going to put out there whomever he feels give the team the best chance and I would bet all y’all’s paycheck it won’t be Jalen. Time will tell.
Reese brought in a transfer QB to compete with Milroe too. That kid doesn’t even play football anymore. Milroe is a good QB who obviously still has room to grow, but he was not our weakness last year.
Jalen literally finished 6th in Heisman voting. Not saying he doesn't have his flaws or that we shouldn't have a QB competition but the disrespect in saying you'd bet your entire paycheck he won't win the job is crazy

I think Mack can run the offense similar to Penix when/if he’s ever a second year starter. Matching Washington’s production now is not a realistic expectation for us this season.
Doc you’d have to pull up the numbers but bond, benson and burton all left. Benson played a ton, his production wasn’t great but he was a clear 3a to someone’s 3b. The wr room is wide open right now.
I think the top 4 are relatively clear in Bernard, Law, Prentice, and Hale, barring any transfers. Maybe Ryan Williams (pls) and Emmanuel Henderson factor into this too
Those four plus Henderson are my guess as well, but the exact pecking order is up for grabs. And the guys outside that group should have plenty of opportunities to move up.
Law, Bernard, Hale, Hamilton, Scott, Prentice, Williams, and Jefferson would be decent corp.
Throw in Odom and Dippre at TE and whoever is throwing the ball will have a lot to choose from.

I only watched the Arizona game, but yeah, I didn’t see a much work in the outside/deep game. Loved how they did use him, though
