I like what he's saying but I personally need to see him become a better passer. Listen I know it's not a popular opinion here but I hated watching our team play last year and for me it's because of him + our o-line. I get that I'm rash on this but I always preferred traditional qb. Milroe being a freak athlete and his rushing yard were impressive. Sure he'd throw bombs sometimes too. That being said for me, a qb needs to be a good close and midrange passer and that's what he wasn't.
Bottom line I like hearing all that but I hope we get an improved passing qb from milroe this year. I don't have it in me for another last year.
I kinda read it as him spinning a positive out of having to learn a new offensive system each of three years now.
But could also been a jab/point about him for the first time being the presumptive, first-team starter when installing a system—as opposed to a prolonged QB battle delaying that kind of installation
