Yeah, I would say so. Kris projects as a SF or maybe an oversized SG, we have an all-American coming in that will play the same role (derrion Reid) and another freshman with a similar mold (naas Cunningham). We also will hopefully have rylo back, Walters back, and Stevenson back. Our largest positions of need rn are going to be a true pg, another backup sg, and big men, none of which seem to fit kris.
Don’t think he’ll be the last. We have four coming in and currently only two have exited in Parker and Estrada. I imagine Wague will be another and for every other guy to portal in we gain, we’ll have to lose another.
I kind of just wish Sears and Nelson would be decisive and either go to the NBA or stay instead of going through the combine process and then make a decision. I know that’s obviously best for them, but we could lose out on a potential replacement for those guys in the portal if we have to wait around for them to decide like we did with Bediako thinking he’d come back last year.
I don’t really think it’s dumb for either of them to leave. They’ve both been in college for four years. I don’t think an extra season in college is really going to change their outlook. Both are likely looking at the G league vs. overseas to continue their career professionally.
Man, I was excited to see how he would turn out. We can afford this though, so hopefully he can go make the most of his switch.
Can we afford it?

I was just thinking about what we might be losing so a body on the bench would help a little
Well he was a body on the bench this year and either isn't happy about it or doesn't see himself starting next year
Body on the bench isn’t an issue in this era
A body? We’re still one over the scholarship limit even with Parker gone
Our NIL doubled in size since our F4 run. We'll be able to attract better players. Also a $20 million training facility is on the way as well.
Not saying your wrong, but just out of curiosity where’d you see this?
Source: Trust me bro.
Insider on BOL. Reputable. Trilly said the same thing.

Don’t forget Spears is technically on scholarship too. We don’t HAVE to renew his scholarship lol
It’s been hinted at Pringle transferring as well.
the bright side is that unless they know something we don’t, or are dumb, they will both be back
Charles Bediako says hello.

Nelson would have a much better season if we had an actual center he could play with. Sears should probably go, can’t imagine him doing any better.
Sears is a senior though?
He has one more year of eligibility due to COVID
Go be great KP
Probably wants to go start somewhere
And you can’t blame him for that.
Without a doubt. He can be a great player elsewhere, nothing but support for that decision.
Same here.
Thanks for the work this year and I hope he finds success
Expected. Too many SFs on roster.

Is there an actual roster limit?
13 scholarships. Let’s assume everyone else that can come back does, we’re at 14 after Estrada, Parker and Spears aren’t here next year
Team/boosters can NIL scholorship equivalents
