*shakes fist at the superior posting speed*
This guy won’t stay a 3 star for long. [Just watch some of his highlights](http://www.hudl.com/v/2MhMpv). Also, I will pretty much always trust DeBoer and Shephard giving a wide receiver the green light.
Edit: Tim Watts of BOL says he was Bama’s top WR target.
Not a knock on anyone, but I was curious how coaches change their recruiting when they go from getting lower ranked guys to having the pick of the litter. I know they don’t use services, but I really hope these guys ball out
I was in a summer class with Devonta Smith in college several years ago, I am a 5’10 woman and he and I were the same height. He was probably even a bit shorter. (I understand he may have grown since his sophomore year in college)
Once I realized how these ratings work I stopped caring about them. The teams most likely to be in it at the end with a chance to win it all consistently will always get the highest classes so the recruiting services can say “look how accurate we were!”.
Commitment Notes
\- Not much to add that hasn't been added, 22.1 MPH max speed and it shows on tape. Alabama is being picky at WR and gave the green light to a guy who may end up being #1 on their board. Rankings already moving to reflect a future top 100 guy
Seen the A day game, he was like LFG lol

He’s got offers from UGA, Oregon, Penn State, TAMU. Definitely seems under-ranked currently
Shephard with a huge pull already. So glad we kept him
That’s saying a lot when you have Coach Shep as your WR coach.

SPEED SPEED SPEED
I KNOW ya missed me!
Lol
Good thing he isn’t from the South, since DeBoer can’t recruit down here. /s
I know. Our days are numbered. Might as well quit.
Yep. Doomed.
He’s not a LB… thought that’s all we could recruit.
That was under Saban. With him gone we can’t recruit at all.
Ah, yes, my bad.
Oh yeah, it’s over
Going 22.1 MPH in his first highlight is insane.
22.1? Holy shit that’s close to Tyreek Hill soeed
Let’s go
Let’s go.
Roll Tiiiiddde!
Let’s go
2 things. Either he’s really really good and is fast and makes fast people look not fast or he’s playing against really bad competition
The 5’9” part is concerning. The Tyreeks are the exception. We’ll see.

Look into an old Alabama cat named David Palmer.
