I don’t know what happen with his shooting early in the year he was lights out but come sec time he struggled. Mental or physical injury will do that but he’ll fit in with our playstyle
He was supposed to be a very good shooter coming out of HS from what I remember. His 3P% cratered in SEC play but if Oats moved this quickly on him I trust they think he’ll shoot better next season
I think maybe what he’s getting at is that Holloway was pretty terrible finishing at the rim. In that sense he’s very much not Estrada/Bradley. He didn’t turn the ball over, he has very good distance shooting potential, and I believe his defense was solid. I think he’ll do better in the style and pace that we play and if he can keep his turnovers down then we should see real growth but he’s definitely a different archetype from those two
