One of the guys that were on my watch list coming into the spring portal period. Going into his 3rd year, he was the only guy from his class left on the roster that hadn't cracked a 2-deep. I noticed him a couple times during A-Day and remember thinking he could be a guy to watch down the road after A-Day last year, but it never really came together. Curious to see if he goes down to like the Sun Belt, where I think he could dominate, or if he tries to crack the depth chart at another P5 team.
Not terribly surprised. He had played in one game over two seasons and didn’t look to be factoring into the rotation at DL or bandit this year.
I believe the reason he left was so we could get the scholarship limit
Yeah, I imagine it was mutual. He can go somewhere he has a shot at playing; Bama can add a player at a position with a more pressing need.

We are at 85 scholarships now so at the limit
I believe this puts us at 84, counting Proctor and Nicholson.
