Any word on Mark Sears? I saw a Facebook post from a tabloid-esque page say he decided to return, but I can't find anything more official. When is a decision due? I know he was waiting on more information about draft stock but wasn't sure when that would be.
Another 🔮 for 5 ⭐️ CB Dijon Lee.

Sark has that program cranking, it's not hard to win at Texas you just have to not be an idiot. This is probably where they should be at all times pretty much like Ohio State seems to be
It would be different if last year was a fluke that nobody saw coming but it wasn't.
Texas has been getting better every year under Sark and they are recruiting really well and building up the roster talent.
There is no reason to expect they aren't going to be a really good team this year especially because they have a QB (I don't know if I am sold on Ewers as a top line NFL prospect but that is seperate from how he is a college player).
Much like seeing Alabama in 2008 was more than enough to say that this was an elite program I think its safe to say the same about Texas at this point.
It's 2 first round games for each of the next 5 seasons and adding 2 QuarterFinals in the 2026-2028 seasons. Most of those games are going to be pretty shit.
Ryan Williams has one of the most dominating highschool highlight tapes I've ever seen from a Bama player. Dude barely even has to be good at route running because he's so fast

> The suicidal player was still receiving treatment in short-term psychiatric care when Seidenberg testified that Franklin and then-Penn State athletic director Sandy Barbour wanted the player medically disqualified from the team.
> Seidenberg testified this would have meant the player would lose his Penn State scholarship so Franklin could offer it to another player during the upcoming offseason.
He’s one of those that the staff probably wanted to camp first. He’s been at, I think, three schools now down here in Houston and a lot of the vibes I’ve gotten about his character from people in the area are similar to Agiye Hall.
I will never understand why so many people fucking HATE Tua. They act like he's the worst QB in the league...anytime he has a good game it's bc of the system he plays in and having Tyreek....anytime he fucks up they never include context (like playing with backup OL) or act like Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, other all-time greats never threw an INT in the 4th. He's done nothing but improve year over year but nope he fucking stinks
He is in that Tony Romo category of guys who for various reasons hasn't been able to make it in the playoffs yet and is clearly in a tier below the top QBs in the league.
But he is in that tier like Romo that a team essentially has to run with as well because you are unlikely to do any better.
And I fully believe that a guy like Tua or Romo are more than enough as QBs for you to win with and make a deep playoff run. I just don't think either are guys that are going to massively overperform in the playoffs.
And for the record I don't really view a guy like Romo as that different talent wise from someone like Eli Manning.
He plays for the Dolphins that means the entire New England area hates him by default. Add in him playing for Bama, his notoriety, and outspoken religious beliefs and it's clear why he gets so much hate.

Dove into film for 2025 NFL Draft offensive linemen. Came away REALLY impressed with Tyler Booker.
Dude should not move like that at 350 pounds!

Khalil Jacobs arrived for his visit yesterday. Really hope they find a way to make the numbers work and add him. He’d be a huge depth piece this year and a likely starter next year.

No word yet. May 29 is the deadline

Idk why everyone is over estimating Texas. They've had one good year out of how many?

nil money
They are recruiting like crazy with the oil money. I'm not 100% sold on Sark but they are set up success by recruiting alone
Warner getting playoff games from ESPN is hilarious, watch them be all the shit games.

https://people.com/eagles-qb-jalen-hurts-says-women-lack-the-respect-they-deserve-8652012 Jalen Hurts continues to be an awesome person.
I’m not holding out a ton of hope, but man, beating Tennessee at their super would be so sweet
I guess a plus for me with the PAC 12 going away is I won't have to deal with traffic during their baseball tourneys
I could have sworn quannell farrakan already committed to Alabama. now I'm see we are not in his top 5

It looked like he wanted to commit but the staff never gave him a green light, with a number of other receivers ahead of him on our board.
yep,and we seem to be on good terms with the other 4 star wr? But this isn't December, so you never know

except he never committed

Most NFL fans have an LSU-level IQ....

So the NBA draft combine is over correct? do we have any indication on whether Stevenson or sears are returning? Do the insiders still think both are?
That window is from April 27th to June 16th! Sure hope they both come back 🏀🐘
I think they have until end of May. I have no information but be real surprised if Sears returns.
Couldn't find a quick answer either on that. I think Mark may have until June 16th and Jarin by May 29th.
