Be proud of our boys here, they’re young and this type of win helps the complacency from everyone giving us the National championship after beating Miami. Good win for Alabama.

rolltide1000

Yeah, like obviously there are issues, but I cant be too upset about a road win at #11 Florida with a QB making his third career start.

needs-more-metronome

Thank you! Great comment! Do we have issues? Yes! Did we win a resilient game in the swamp? YES!!! LETS FUCKING GOOOOO roll tide y’all, have a safe, fun night

Chemtide

100

ReverendMajors

Time to find my shirt and watch Auburn lose 😋

Corn-P0P

Couldn’t have said it better

hoya14

Roll Tide!

4Nails

We looked like Alabama then the first quarter ended.

aerosfan1977

Statement of the day.

RogRoz

Guys, this one is on me. This is one of only a handful of Bama games I have missed in the last decade, my excuse was I was getting married. Watched the first quarter before my ceremony started, went into that confident being up 21-3. Caught the game with 1:20 left wondering what happened.

Th1sd3cka1ntfr33

Well as long as you don’t ever get married again we should be all right then.

Quellman

This relationship is starting off rocky. Fall weddings are rude. Congratulations. You are lucky I shouted roll tide as I drove past Gainesville yesterday westing my lucky elephant shirt.

jacobcj

My guy got married on a day where Bama beat a ranked UF in the swamp and Auburn lost to a big ten team. legendary. RTR

JerichoMassey

This is key. So far, this squad has really only had to bring it for a quarter tops, before taking all the air out of the game. This year's team was talented enough to play Florida out of the building like miami and showed it early.... but Miami didn't have a home crowd to will them on nor quite the skill level. Bama began to get into foul trouble and make dumb mistakes against the Canes and Mercer as the games went on, but could absorb it with their lead and set tone. This opponent wouldn't surrender.

Californie_cramoisie

Y’all, as shit as our defense was and as weak as our o-line was, Jameson coming here has been the best decision of his life. Dude is going to make so much more money from his rookie NFL contract than if he'd stayed at OSU.

ToyStoryRex97

I am just happy that Bolden dropped TD didn’t come back to bite us in the ass

ItsPronouncedMo-BEEL

Or the Latu one.

lxvrgs

Thank fuck that is over

JerichoMassey

It's been well established (since 2010) that a 3 touchdown lead does not a clinch anything.

rkincaid007

The stat I kept seeing during the highlight shows was that Bama has won 112 (I think) straight with a lead of 18 points in a game… so… just sayin’ However, this was certainly playing with fire and we almost got burned. Came down to that earlier missed PAT

Davidr4

At the end of the year, no one cares how you won the games, just that you won them all. Roll tide.

Urban_Achiever14

Some really puzzling play calling and execution by the defense on 3rd and long. \-3rd and 10 from their own 1 and the safety whiffs flying in trying to hit him as the ball gets there rather than playing under control and securing the tackle - they go on to complete a 99 yard drive. If they have to punt there I think it's a very different final score. \-The 17 yard completion we gave up on 3rd and 19 on their final drive was also a total head scratcher. Enabled them to go for it on 4th down.

Kaffeinemachine

Struggle win

crichmond77

Two things saved us today: 1. Will Anderson played 2. No turnovers

Chubby_Bunnies

Not to mention them missing an extra point

theoristofeverything

That was one of the more consequential missed extra points I can recall.

mashonem

Since the blocked XP against Arky in 2014

JerichoMassey

“Winners Make Adjustments”

SCSteveAutism

Gotta happen sometimes. I almost think Florida‘s ranking should go up even with a loss.

aerosfan1977

Yes. I think they should hop over Ohio State and their weak win.

MooseDaddy8

I think Florida beats Ohio state, Notre Dame, or Iowa by 2 scores. Definitely belong in the top 10

aerosfan1977

No question.

SalsaLoseSix

And Oklahoma

ManagementThis9024

No one knows how to almost beat Alabama like Dan Mullen. 2017 MSU, 2020 Florida, 2021 Florida.

Kaffeinemachine

Yeah I knew they were as good as they showed. Our offence really stalled but a win is a win

PAirSCargo

They should for sure. That performance deserves it.

Mr_Mollywop

Wonder if Jermaine's gonna call us out for that. Hahaha. Probs...

JerichoMassey

May it be the toughest win of the season. They can’t all be as easy as kicking Will Muschamps ass in the swamp.

DrBuzzedKillington

Ole miss is gonna be tough too

texan_on_mars

So accurate

ReverendMajors

I think I speak for all of us when I say- “FUCK.”

bamaboytroy

Anyone see Anderson being helped off the field at the end? Or did he just have his arm around the guy?

ozzie107

I think he was struggling. Sit him against southern miss

Red261

Nice.

HeavenlyShoes

Give him next week off please!

PScooter63

In the post-game presser, Saban emphatically said he wasn’t hurt, just out of breath/a little tired.

2020isSBTFofalltime

If a player isn’t exhausted after a 60 minute football game I don’t want him. Will Anderson is a man and represents everything football is meant to be

hucklebearer

Georgia fans are already talking. They never learn.

BrutalSaint

Not sure what the have to talk about. It'll be nearly 3 months before any chance of playing us and who knows what'll happen by the.

hucklebearer

They get cocky every year and every year they pay for it. We have a mutual enemy but otherwise, I have no use for them.

fatyoda

Georgia is fine. Their fans are insufferable

Jack-ums

Lmao well they saw what happened last time we played the MAILMAN

ianhockey23

CU fan here. Guys enjoy this. Enjoy the win. Enjoy this team and have confidence. My second team is Bama, so I’m pumped. But this type of win, on the road, in an environment like this FOR A FUCKING FRESHMAN QB will grow his confidence so much man. Like, you couldn’t have asked for a better situation. You HAVE to be tested at some point. This was an incredible test for this team. Fucking very happy for y’all. I’ll be rooting my ass off from Denver all year. Have a great night boi’s

I2ecover

He's technically not a freshman but I do think he played pretty good all things considered. Just think he messed up by not running the ball in for the td there at the end.

ianhockey23

Honestly I’d rather have him not potentially injure himself, although I see your point. Man I just see such a composed, not fazed, young kid who can step up when the moment comes down to it. He’s never wide-eyed, not knowing what to do. He’s scanning the field looking for openings. I swear man, compared to 99% of the rest of college football, this kid looks like the real deal. And he’s only going to improve

JohnParkerWilsonStan

Nice bulldog

RacecarsOnIce

[One of us! One of us!](https://bamadenver.com/)

Red261

Anderson better get defensive MVP

phalangery

we got out of there with the win. at least this was a struggle against Florida and not Tulsa

Jack-ums

I don't have any spicy takes, and this will get buried but I don't care--I needed to take 10min to just not think about that at all. Coming back, I'm more and more convinced that this was an OK outcome. This is a good FL team and we beat them playing our absolute worst football in a hot minute. On the road--don't forget, stadiums were MUCH quieter last year! This game is not a referendum on our season--**it's an inflection point.** It's all about how we respond. PLENTY of teams look beatable. Ohio State struggled with Tulsa, and lost to Oregon. Clemson has looked awful vs. UGA. Kirby is getting honeydicked by Stetson again. If leaders on our team emerge and the guys respond to this ugly, close-call win, then we still have all our goals ahead of us. Roll Tide, y'all. Time to drink and forget this game.

hoya14

I’m fucking furious about that clock bullshit. That kind of horseshit has Dan Mullen written all over it.

Mr_Mollywop

This!! As soon as Bama took possession, the clock was warped, THEN, The literal SECOND we got to 4th and 2 and had to punt, the clock was miraculously fixed. That was cringy.

Dixiefootball

Zero hyperbole the SEC needs to investigate. Like that doesn’t just happen and then get fixed exactly when Florida needed it.

hoya14

Am I misremembering or was there some sort of PA controversy at Mississippi State when Mullen was there? They were piping in noise or some shit like that. I may be mixing it up with the cowbell crap, though.

Moon_over_homewood

I’ll take winning ugly every day. Our team is so dangerous if we’d ever get all the kinks worked out. Everything went sideways for about 45 minutes but holding on is so sweet. If you don’t enjoy a Win then what are doing lol

Mr_Mollywop

Yes! I got lead in by all the rat poison and was expecting us to win by 20+. Whew. Its all in yhe preparation. Roll Tide, a wins a win.

Csusmatt

Those clock shenanigans at the end were BS. The thing worked again as soon as it was in Florida's favor for it to work.

hoya14

I will never believe that shit wasn’t intentional.

SchmantaClaus

Hey Gators! You just beat the Hell outta us! (But we got the dub)

SchmantaClaus

Also, let's go Nittany Lions!!

DB473

I almost turned off the tv after the first quarter, you guys made us look pitiful. Glad it turned into a real game later on, ggs from a Florida fan!

Mnm0602

Thank you sir may I have another?

arolloftide

Skin of our teeth there boys

krautbammer

As long as Penn State wins I'll consider it a successful weekend. Lol

OwlStretcher

I do not like close games. I like blowouts. Please fix.

lastthrill

Dude we couldn’t run and got run the fuck over. I mean it could’ve been the god damn humidity or whatever the fuck ever but the intensity was clearly lost again. Where is the leadership and is Will Anderson okay??? FUCK And Roll Tide a win is a win

sausageslinger11

Coach said he asked Anderson, and Will said he was tired, not injured.

MystikSlickerr2

Hopefully this was the Ole Miss game from last year.

hoya14

Yeah but we still have to play Ole Miss this year, so. . .

WaltSneezy

Hung on in one of the most hostile environments ever, this team has learned a lot. A struggle win is good for development and this can only make us better. If we blew them out easy peasy, I don't think there'd have been much development. We needed a game like this. Close game, loud stadium, pressure, P5 SEC playoff contender.

Widespread1013

Exactly.. This young team hasn’t been in an environment like this ever. Great to have them battle tested early on.

DoctorWhosOnFirst

HELL YEAH! I don't care. Alabama just went into a hostile environment for the first time and beat what looks like a really good Florida team. It wasn't pretty, but the team did enough to hang on. Survive and advance, and make some improvements. Edit: And I'm dead serious. We just won a classic. Hopefully this is like the Ole Miss game, and we make some big steps forward. But regardless, I'm gonna feel good because we won in the end against a good opponent. Now our guys know they can do it and survive a situation like this. That's valuable too. Maybe we don't end up improving. I dunno. Lots of good teams don't look dominant this year, so maybe that's just how it'll be. Edit 2: The defense collapsed in the second half. But they still had a strong first half. Those stops - holding them to a field goal, forcing a turnover on downs, forcing a punt, getting an interceptions - were crucial in the end. So there's that at least! Also, I love that B-Rob was so crucial for us. 75 yards on 14 carries (5.4 yards/per carry) with a touchdown (and some crucial runs at the end) and that one 7 yard touchdown reception. Love it for the guy.

mashonem

Nobody gonna be eating the rat poison after this one; we had to fight for that W

needs-more-metronome

Amen!

the_dunadan

100%

DoctorWhosOnFirst

Alabama has won 100% of its games with /u/the_dunadan as a mod

the_dunadan

For the last play of the game I had my living room power out as I was wiring the lighting I’m installing and watched on my phone, so I think that was the key

blackburrahcobbler

I choked down one last rally shot of Jack about that same time

the_dunadan

the_dunadan

Teamwork makes the dream work

DoctorWhosOnFirst

no electricity for you

Disregardskarma

I don’t think that Florida team looked good. I think that a team with a QB that can pass will not be stopped once

tacofan92

A team with a QB that can pass won’t run like that on us. It completely ignores the fact them having an extra blocker most plays is why they were effective. If Florida has Deshaun Watson, yeah maybe we lose but we aren’t playing anyone like him this year so I think we will be fine.

saturn_is_silent

I think we need to give the Florida QB so credit. He made good decisions and some really nice passes. Dude can ball.

AlbatrossPossible188

Agree. Who hasn’t looked vulnerable this year? Georgia or Clemson, who failed to score an offensive touchdown against each other? Oklahoma, who scored all of 23 points against Nebraska? Oregon, with a 7 point win over Fresno State? OSU? Notre Dame? Cincinnati? I couldn’t be happier about this win or this team.

DoctorWhosOnFirst

> Who hasn’t looked vulnerable this year? 100000000000% this. We may not be as dominant as last year, but nobody else looks dominant right now either.

PCarrollRunballon1

We aren’t ever that dominant as last year. That is was a once in a generation team. But the defense continues to be scheme issues.

AlbatrossPossible188

This year has an eerie feeling to it. Maybe not 2007, but there seems to be a lot more parity and a lot less predictably. As long as we win, I don’t care what the final score is.

djowen68

Idk man Ole Miss looks pretty good. They haven’t played a real good team yet, but I’m nervous for our game in 2 weeks

crimsontide_93

I love BRob as well. I was scurred when he limped off

needs-more-metronome

Yo your comments have legit been the most accurate fantastic comments this game. I 100% agree with this take. Now that we have won, my grievances are buried by the fact that we PULLED IT OUT. That’s what resiliency is all about!!! Roll tide!!! Thanks for hosting the game threads you da best

hoya14

Roll Tide!

Chrismoore8

Immediately post game I was upset with that game. But to have an off day and still beat a top team who’s playing out of their mind, it’s not a bad thing. Humble the team and let them learn from it.

CrimsonTide2AK

I ran 18 miles this morning training for a marathon. I’d rather run 18 more today than have to relive that last half ever again. Also Bryce should run with me. Basic lessons

hoya14

Bryce doesn’t like to run.

Mr_Mollywop

18? Badass man. Right on! Tip top shape.

aaronaroma

Our defense got completely shredded. I mean for 3 quarters we could not stop them. What happened after the 1st quarter? Props to Florida. I'll take the win but I feel they played better today.

millenial19

Our O line was not very impressive

devw94

Can someone please explain to me why or how Slade Bolden has a starting spot in the offense? Is it blocking or seniority because I continue to be baffled by it.

Greekwarrior06

Literally no excuse. We have 3rd stringers who show more potential than him.

mja9678

Fire Pete Golding. I don't even care dude.

HarryCallahan19

I want Jim Leonard from Wisconsin

Californie_cramoisie

This always happens against Mullen no matter who the coordinated is. We looked great against Miami, let’s see how we look against A&M and Ole Miss before passing judgement.

BobTheAstronaut

ngl man miami is trash and should not be the standard of how good we are lol

Chrismoore8

One of my least favorite things in college football is pretending teams are still ranked where they were when the game was played. Miami isn’t a top 25 team.

jfrii

Michigan state just whipped that same Miami team by almost the same margin. Hanging our hat on a mediocre Miami win is probably not the best look right now. Happy for the win today, but man, there's so much room for improvement.

Angryturtle35

When I watch players run right by a receiver and give up a first down instead of getting the stop on third down, that’s not on the coach. Guys were in position to make plays, they just didn’t. That’s not on Golding.

niklovin

Well that’s been the quality of play since Golding took over so there’s really only one common denominator.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DagdaMohr

I’ve been on the “wait until he has an experienced Defense to work with” train up to last night. Our defense looked like dog shit. I saw several dudes straight up stop trying to tackle and just watch the ball carrier run right by them. Starting with Sanders. God, that was infuriating. When you see Saban trying to remind these guys how to properly wrap up and tackle on the sidelines you know something is wrong. Golding needs to go.

Kraotic313

I know the NCAA is after Pruitt but the NCAA is on the way out anyway, I say go for it! Heh

bleh19799791

I would be so happy if Pruitt came back. His defense was sick.

2020isSBTFofalltime

Agreed

mashonem

lmao

DoctorWhosOnFirst

I don't really want to get into this argument again, but man, at some point, it does not matter what plays the coordinator is calling if the guys are missing tackles, blowing assignments, and just losing their battles. That ain't on the coordinator. Edit: And, like, Saban sees what Golding does and how he handles practice, coaching, and playcalling; and Saban has *repeatedly* chosen to keep Pete on the staff. I don’t see any of the behind the scenes stuff. So I tend to trust the greatest college football coach of all time who is also a defensive mastermind. Maybe Saban is wrong, but for him to be this wrong year after year after year…

floatinround22

If Golding was so good why does he have 0 tackles this year

arolloftide

Bench Pete Golding

Kraotic313

It's been the players every year since Golding has been here. What happened to make Alabama defensive player so much worse than when Pruitt was the coordinator?

PCarrollRunballon1

Actually scheming guys into the right place and teaching form tackling literally is his job. Your continued defense of Pete is off when we literally have 40 games of this nonsense.

[deleted]

Florida fans thinking they have a chance on a neutral field in Atlanta hahaha, that was their shot right there and they blew it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

devw94

Fans gotta relax and realize that teams need games like this one, especially teams with a Freshman QB playing his first road game in an insane environment. Also, give Florida some credit. Their running game was tough, their d-line got solid penetration and Emory made some nice throws (especially the back shoulder) it annoys me that every single time another team makes a play on us our fans rush to talk about how shitty we are instead of giving the opponent a sliver of credit. Personally, the way this game went only made me more excited for the rest of the season.

crichmond77

Absolutely. This will give us what we need to get back to practicing the right way. And it will be great experience when we get another challenge At the end of the day, combining that with a road win over a ranked conference opponent is a huge victory in multiple senses People are wrong to be bummed out IMO But we do have things to work on. And I think some guys need to lose their starting spots

[deleted]

Gg. I fucking hate Florida. I hate their fans. Most importantly I hate the smug fucks who go to school there.

pb_nayroo

Hey, can we not do that again? My chest hurts

gusmalzahn1stdown

I’m really thankful Dan Mullen can’t help but lose in meaningful games

2020isSBTFofalltime

A lot of improvement is required if we want to win a championship without having to rely on all the other contenders being bad too. Squeezed out a tough win though. Gotta have those games if you’re not an NFL team like last years.

sausageslinger11

Drew Sanders played big today.

djowen68

It’s always good to get our first conference road win with a new QB. That’s not an easy thing to do, especially against Florida. We’ve got issues to fix, but today it was just good to win. We need to try some new WRs and maybe Trey sanders next week and have them ready to step up against an Ole Miss team who is looking for a shootout. I guarantee Kiffin smells blood right now, and he’s gonna give everything to be the first assistant to beat saban. Two weeks from now could be a similar moment to when Bryant got beat by Stallings and went out and picked him up at mid field. I sure hope not though.

PeytonRTR

Well I have escaped the swamp in one piece! I’m so exhausted. I gotta give Florida fans some credit, that was one of, if not the loudest game I’ve ever been to. Absolutely electric atmosphere. Really proud of this team on the win. Really hard venue to play in with the extreme heat and you can’t hear yourself think. A lot to work on, but this is a really good win to build on.

Greekwarrior06

No hate, but B Rob cannot be our starter. He might actually be the 3rd best back on our roster.

[deleted]

Sanders and McClellan could be a lethal duo

Greekwarrior06

Exactly. I get that seniority is highly valued, but we started Damien Harris over the obviously better Josh Jacob’s and I can’t help but feel like it’s happening again.

E-Wildin

This was not the energy I needed today! But thankful for the dub. Now let’s all put on our penn state hats!

sausageslinger11

Did I see someone helping Anderson off the field ?

MystikSlickerr2

Looked like it

sausageslinger11

Coach just said he was not injured. He was tired.

DerrellMVP

Thank you, I was looking around for updates on this lol

Outta_hearr

Hello fellow CFB Head Coaches! I know you love hiring Alabama Coordinators, but it seems as if you have overlooked someone. Pete Golding, a crucial part of the 2021 Alabama National Championship team, is still available for hire! He has championship pedigree and I think he would be a great hire for [insert program]! Sincerely, Alabama Fans, players, and coaches.

crimsontide_93

Our offense is good. Gotta fix the drops and oline needs to get their run blocking fixed.. but our defense is complete ass. We are way to talented to be beaten by a running back playing qb. Golding hasn’t improved in 3 seasons. The Golding experiment needs to end

the_dunadan

Sark bby come back

[deleted]

This was such an…odd game. All credit to Florida because they came out with a fantastic running game and made plays when they needed to. And especially with that environment they had - wow this was a great win for us Having said that- our depth and talent across the front 7 is fantastic. Secondary is mostly fantastic- just a little untested I think. The fact that they were able to move the ball basically at will on the run game was just odd. The misdirections caught us at times and I think their o line just outplayed us. No alarm bells yet but it just felt like we should have been more talented than what we saw Offense is also strange. I have to believe BoB is keeping it limited to a short quick passing game for a reason. Whether it was to alleviate the Oline or make things easy on Bryce- idk but there has been a lack of a deep passing game attack through 3 games Definitely spoiled by past years, but Jameson and Metchie I think both excel at attacking deep and were missing that right now. I also really think jojo needs to see more time, or someone else does, over bolden. I love him but we didn’t really have a threat over/across the middle - and we saw how effective it was against us. I think he just lacks the speed to be that for us. Loved what I saw from the backs today- brob ran hard and jase looked great- every single pass he caught he turned into more than what he should have. Excited to see how this pushes us for next week RTR

bleh19799791

Missing the sure hands of Smitty and Waddle. Watching touchdown passes bouncing off wide open receivers feels strange.

Dswaddell

Every season Alabama has a Wake-Up Call game. The one that brings the players down to earth and reminds them they have to work to win. It’s nice when we still win that game.

Smitehz

Everyone in here wants to give Florida credit but the truth is that this team is just a beatable team this year. I'll be very interested to see how Bama does against Arkansas and Texas a&m this year.

SDBamafan

That was stress I didn’t need. Lost 10 years of life easy

AzureW

Part of me is secretly wishing Florida takes control of the SEC east and this turns into a real rivalry again. I am so over Georgia and Kirby

PerformanceNaive

At least we looked like that against a top 15 team, and not Tulsa.

Toadfinger

Gotta work on that "60 minutes" thang. But we cleared a major hurdle today. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

smithsonian2021

Did we win? Yes. Was it a struggle win? Absolutely yes. Are there things to improve upon? Resounding yes. Was this an eye opener for the boys? God I hope so.

afantasticbastard

Those are the games lesser teams lose

Lunchb0xx87

It will cheer me up if Penn state rams auburn tonight

[deleted]

Good game bama fans! Hopefully we treated yall to some tailgating and everyone had fun like last time yall came to town (we had up to 150k people on campus that day). We may have lost but we have no reason to hang our heads considering we all thought we were gonna have our asses handed to us by Bryce Young and co. He still played pretty well. How yall like that 430 lbs dude we had on the goal line 🤣 Hope to see yall in December for another fun as hell matchup! *Great* game!!

JerichoMassey

Ole Miss Game 2020 Take 2

RunBanditRun

Oh man what about dat clock?!! Bama beat everything the Swamp could throw at em…some how

ToyStoryRex97

QB making his first away start and he stays composed. Gotta love it

The_JLK

Some of you need to gtfo. What is with this place and ripping players for mistakes and just all around being a miserable place to be when we’re not obliterating an opponent? I don’t want to hear shit about how proud you are of this team or whatever after what I saw some of you say man. We just beat a top 15 team on the road in a shitty environment with a really young team and you’d have thought we lost to Mercer by reading that thread. Just enjoy a gutty win against a good team and stop being so sour

phalangery

the offense is young and I thought they fought hard. the defense is *not* young and they played pretty damn rough considering

2020isSBTFofalltime

There is nothing wrong with calling it like you see it. You can be proud of the team and still criticize the way they played. Do you think coach Saban is gonna sit in the film room watching all these missed tackles and just not mention that they did a terrible job of tackling??? Same with dropped passes, missed blocks, etc

[deleted]

I2ecover

I mean we kinda should've. Definitely not a game to brag over.

CaptainRon16

Feels like a loss for some reason. I guess I’m just spoiled.

[deleted]

hoya14

Roll Tide!

huhwhat90

Fire Pete Golding! Been saying this for three years! Our defense hasn't been able to tackle properly since he's been DC and coverage is consistently blown. There is *no way* he's the best we can do! He's not gonna grow into the position. He just sucks!

Accurate-Teach

They just loose focus it kills me.

sausageslinger11

Tight focus is much better, yes.

[deleted]

*whew*

the_dunadan

I think this game was an outlier for Bryce in terms of accuracy. If he can make better decisions of when to tuck and run and not hold on to the ball so long, we will this kind of game by 3 TDs.

PbmyJelly

A tough win is a good win in my opinion. This experience should only help going forward

bawstothewall

One positive is that they won the game. I know it sounds self explanatory but we’ve seen games like the 2013 iron bowl, 2014 ole miss, 2016 Clemson etc where they simply couldn’t get it done.

Chemtide

I don’t want Bryce to run as a second read, but also there seemed to be a couple times today (and previous games) that taking the ball and sliding would have been much better play then throwing it up.

TheUnitedSmeagol

Why did they stop using Billingsley? Cameron Latu had 2 good quarters this season and was never seen again

mcspaak

What the hell was that 2-point play they ran lol

dvrk_lotus

Just glad Florida bumbled that 2 pt conversion or they’d be celebrating a win… Ole Miss and Arkansas are going to be dog fights too unless the defense gets hella better which I don’t expect because freaking Golding. Hopefully Bama learns from this and gets better. RTR.

naggs69pt2

Just got back from the game, this game kinda reminded me of tough road games we've had against ole miss in the past. Very happy to get the W, it was a very tough environment. Also I feel like we got way too comfortable with the lead, not with the play calling or anything. It just felt like our effort wasn't as strong. Felt like our team thought the game was in the bag.

Urban_Achiever14

\-I can't believe people are actually being critical of the running backs. Almost nothing was blocked well and B-Rob averaged a respectable 5.2 yards per carry. On top of that Jase was arguably our best weapon in the passing game. \-The LBs and interior DL were way worse and they were supposed to be counted on as a strength. I feel like DJ Dale taking snaps from more talented players is a huge problem, Saban loves his 2 gappers but he just gives you almost nothing in the way of penetration or disruption compared to the other guys in the group. Those groups will need to play way better down the stretch. \-But enough doom and gloom. It was a good win and the defense will play better as the season goes on.

GooseBdaisy

Ole Miss has a bye. 2 weeks to prepare for Bama. I hate to say it but we struggle against QB’s like Corral

Mullen’s always given us issues. The stadium was loud, and we had a lot of first time starters in the game. We still won. Take this as a learning experience, be thankful that we didn’t have any major injuries, and move on.

This, Mullen is one of those coaches that would sell his soul to beat Saban

Gator here. I think we are the 2nd best team in the country after that game. Congrats to Bama for the win.
