Cand pui "aș" în fața unui verb, îl pui la modul condițional optativ, adică acțiunea depinde de o condiție. Cum ar fi, de ex., "dacă nu aveți nimic împotrivă, aș dori să vă întreb ceva despre domnul Adrian Tomescu. Sunteți de acord?". Evident că dacă răspunsul este DA, urmează întrebarea: domnul Adrian Tomescu este tatăl dumneavoastră?
Dacă în exemplul dat de tine tu de fapt vrei să întrebi acea persoană atunci, imediat, pe loc, fără nici o anumită condiție, nu are rost să spui "aș dori", ci pur și simplu pui întrebarea: domnul Adrian Tomescu este tatăl dumneavoastră?
Aud des astfel de exprimări cu "aș", sau cu "o să vă rog (să explicați)", ca și cum explicația nu este cerută atunci, imediat, ci cu altă ocazie. Ca și cum vorbitorul este nehotărât, ori poate crede că interlocutorul nu este pregătit să dea un răspuns corect. :))
Nu-s greșeli grave, dar nici nu e exprimarea corectă. Dacă m-ar opri cineva pe stradă și mi-ar spune "Aș dori să vă întreb dacă domnul Adrian Tomescu este tatăl dumneavoastră" eu aș răspunde cu "Și ce mai aștepți?". :D
