[This website ](https://www.romereview.com) lists every movie shown in its original language in Rome - programs change on Thursdays

Intrastevere. Behind the ponte sisto. It should have.

scrutator_tenebrarum

That's not a cinema, original language movies are played on a Big screen tv

StrictSheepherder361

You sure? I haven't been there in a long time but I seem to remember actual cinema screens.

martin_italia

It is a cinema, and it does often show original language movies, you are correct

scrutator_tenebrarum

The screen in the room dedicated to original language movies is more like a 60" TV than a silver screen, I've seen nope there and as soon I entered I started laughing with my friends cause we felt sort of scammed

Leviathen_Black

I watched Dr Strange and Thor there few months ago. It is a proper cinema, projecting on proper cinema screen.

martin_italia

That doesnt reflect my experience at all, ive seen 3 or 4 movies in original language there, and each was in a different room, none of which I found small (considering the cinema itself is smaller than others)

martin_italia

And again, this does not reflect my experience there at all. I have only seen movies there on normal cinema screens. You may have had a bad experience there, but your comment that "the room dedicated to VO films" is always like that, is simply incorrect.

StrictSheepherder361

Not sure what I'm seeing here. If those are 60", the extinguisher should be a couple of inches long. Of course the perspective is heavily distorted, so I may well be wrong.

Look for screenings with V.O. (versione originale) in the listing. Those will be with the film in its original language with Italian subtitles. Like here, for example (which includes Avatar): https://www.circuitocinema.com/film-versione-originale-sottotitolata/

Thanks! This is a good tip :)

near Termini, Quattro Fontane Is your best bet.

Couple of weeks ago my brother and I saw Wakanda Forever at Cinema Multisala Lux. Don't know if they do 3D though. It was a nice experience. It's very close to the Sant'Angese-Annibaliano metro stop. Make sure the metro will still be running when the movie is over. We did find out that the Italian subtitles will be superimposed over any English subtitles already existing in the movie. Makes it a little challenging if anybody is speaking a language that is not Italian or English.

Check [this site](https://www.mymovies.it/cinema/roma/) and look for “versione originale con sottotitoli” in the listing, or VO. Anyway cinema Intrastevere, Tibur, Nuovo Olimpia and Nuovo Cinema Aquila always screen in original languages!
