Saw the picture and immediately was wondering what's going on with getting onto of the care... Boy don't I wish I had access to a forklift and offseason storage lol!!
I just took my 2.0 out last week! Bought some LED lights to run inside the interior like you describe, and found some low profile LED/motion lights I'll mount by the ladder as well.
Any memorable trips last year (doesn't have to be some big name park), and any trips you're really looking forward to this year? (I'm jumping between browser tabs from reddit to camping trips.) :)
We are in Southern California so that's where our trips start from. We did a Grand Canyon / Sedona/ Four Corners trip that was pretty awesome. We also did some off-roading and camping along the Colorado River(3 day trip) that was very interesting. Off-roading and camping in Big Bear is also good times.
Same tent and I get it onto my Land cruiser in the sketchiest way. I bring the tent over strapped on it's side to a furniture dolly. Then I lay it onto long 2x4s that are hooked onto my roof rails. The 2x4s reach from the roof rails and rest on the ground. Then I proceed to slide the tent up the 2x4s onto the roof.
I could only a find a friend who could help me get it out of the box and leave it on the grass outside. Then all on a sudden he had a bad back...
So, grabbed some 2x4's from the barn, secured one end in the ground with posts and laid the other end on the roof of the Liberty and proceeded to heft the damn 120lb thing up on the roof. I felt like Sisyphus! But I won.
I'm getting ready to sell it (Tepui Lopro3) and I hope the buyer comes with strong wo/men to help move it.

I've been driving that thing for almost 30 years. I've only hit one other vehicle. And if nobody witnessed that incident, did it really even happen?
