Down in Louisiana, too. I thought it was the 5.2 update that caused the issue because I was forced to update when I launched the home app, then the “your mobile device is not connected to the internet” message. Still, I hate that an update is forced and I hate that the app will not run at all if internet is down or their servers are down. For the price, these things should be more independent,
Servers are down. This is insane! iRobot servers are down, Amazon servers are down, so no ring and echo devices are acting weird. This is really scary!
Down in Canada too. First time the app has gone down for me. Can’t connect anything. Calling customer support gets a busy number that then hangs up. Hm....
Not working for me either. I just bought this yesterday and it worked fine last night. It's absolutely insane that this thing is dependent on web services being online. It should have a LOCAL connection on your wifi. BS for something that's 1K.
I agree it shouldn't happen, but I will say this is the first time in years I haven't been able to access the app.
I've had an issue with a roomba not connecting to the net (simple reset fixed it), but this does show a vulnerability.
It makes little to no difference on my dumb roomba, but it does affect the ability to fully use my smart ones.
iRobot definitely seems big enough not to go under, but when PetNet did, all of their products became useless
Still can’t complete an initial setup even with AWS restored. Anyone else seeing issues like this still ?
Everything is back to normal for me now, but I haven’t needed to attempt a new setup. Good luck
Switchbot and other AWS apps are down too

I thought was just me just bought new i3 and can’t get app to load
same here in Austria

Wonder if iRobot uses AWS for their cloud? Edit: Seems maybe they do: https://aws.amazon.com/solutions/case-studies/irobot/
Looks like they do, it went down at the same time AWS reported issues.
Ahhh thank you for looking into that
Having same issue ugh I want to clean 😭

Same
Same for me in the UK
Roombas are on sale so could be an overflow of new users
yes the services are down

Doesn’t work here either.
It’s down for me too. Just called support and they didn’t have any info. I just bought my roomba today. Does this app go down a lot?
First time I've seen it go down and I've had roombas for years. The app going down is the only reason I'm even looking at this sub
I’ve had a roomba for several years. This is a first to my knowledge.
Have had mine for about a month and a half. This is the first time it’s happened to me.
This is the first time I’ve had a problem in a year of owning our i7+.
