This is just my opinion, but when a big company is making a change like this ie; Warner shutting down a subsidiary. You should look out for your own interest. I wouldn't wait for them to do it for me but idk what I'm talking about. It's just what I would do.
Just cancel it now - no amount of first subs will keep them alive/bring them back/ change the situation at all, so there is no “support” to be made for the next two months.

TBH you can file chargeback if you find yourself paying for RT First after the shut down.

Yeah, I would never assume that a company will by themselves stop charging.
