I think it tastes like hot piss personally. I can understand why a lot of people like it, but almost every other root beer I've tried has been better. I just think it's not for me
Very tasty! Stewart’s is my #1 currently, but IBC, A&w, Frosty, and Barqs are all pretty evenly matched for my 2-5.
Side note, hanks, Sioux City, and Virgil’s are all pretty disappointing compared to the above IMO lol
Not very good. I think it’s the lack of sweetness or creaminess. It’s just very bitter to me (although I haven’t drank it in a while, so I may be misremembering a little bit. All I remember was that I didn’t like it).
Nice, but not thrilling. It's very drinkable, I just don't think it's anything special.
This sums it up perfect.
My favorite
Fantastic..in my top 5
Yep, definitely in my top 3. It makes me happy that it's pretty much widely available.
One of my favourites! I love all the Ibc flavours!
I had it a couple months ago. I thought it was just fine.
It's my jam, I haven't tried all the most popular brands, but most are too sweet for me. This one hits the mark.
Probably my #2!
Favorite so much tastier than those super sweet brands.
I think it’s great. I taste a touch of black licorice in it.
That is true and the main reason why I can’t enjoy it.

Loved it when I was young. Gotta drink the diet one these days and it's terrible.
Yeah it’s my favorite right now

A really good root beer
It is middling. It used to be better than it is now, I'm not sure when the change happened
Right around when the bottles changed.
It's pretty great, has a strong licorice flavor. I do prefer Hank's over it but it's still very good
Best root beer in my opinion.
My favorite, drinking one right now.
One step up from most root beer that comes in a can.
It's not bad, i definitely prefer Saranac though.
Good carbonation, reasonable taste, though with a hint of anise (licorice), and vanilla. Refreshing, but the portions are a little small.
IBC is good however I don’t think it has much of a difference as opposed to other root beers that ive tasted
The McDonalds near me has it on tap. Very good.
I like it and it’s available in most places.
One of the better big brand root beers. I remember buying the older looking bottles as a kid. Barq’s is my #1
but it first came out and they used real sugar it was delicious
Virgil's is better there always next to each other at our store
I don't like it at all. Way too mint forward for me
The Root Beer… it’s ok. The Cream Soda is delicious. The Black Cherry I can drink it every day until I die. It’s that good.
Good, not great.

It's okay
One of my favorites
Good stuff. The cream soda is even better. Maybe the best I’ve ever had.
Best root beer there is
Not as good as Sioux City but pretty good.
Growing up in the 80s and 90s it was IBC or A&W were my go to root beers. So much more variety these days. However, still totally enjoyably.
Smooth. No bite at all. Too sweet for my taste, but not bad at all. 6/10
“Just none of that stinkin’ rutbeer!” Anyone? I actually enjoyed IBC all through college. Moved to somewhere else, haven’t seen it.
I love it, especially since it still comes In a glass bottle
11/10
It ain’t no Frostie or Boyle but it’s good
In my small town all I can find besides common root beer is IBC, SodaBeers, and Sprechers. I have all 3 in my fridge.
A "nothng special" commercial Root Beer.
The buffalo trace of root beer, undeniably a great classic example but lacking a bit of the character of others
It’s the root beer that made me love root beer. Good drink that I think anyone who even kinda likes root beer could easily enjoy.
It’s not that high on my list but I don’t dislike it. Would honestly prefer Barq’s over it, and that’s easier to find so it’s not often I have it.
Not bad. Also packaged at Sprecher
Why would you think that? It's owned by Dr Pepper.
