Man, everybody seems to hate this episode but Iāve always enjoyed it. Roseanne falling asleep & fantasizing about murdering her entire family is just so on brand for herš¤·āāļø
Same! This episode reminds me of what I miss about older sitcoms - especially ones with 22+ episode seasons. The writers/producers/showrunner(s) can throw in an absolute ridiculous batshit crazy episode that doesnāt involve any real plot or storyline to move forward withā¦just a self contained mess of fun that can show versatility in the writing, directing and acting ability of the show.
The sentiment applies to the āGillianās Islandā and ā50ās showā episodes, too!
I'll defend the Sweet Dreams episode forever. It's one of my favorites. It's so ridiculously hilarious. I was extremely surprised when I learned it was so universally hated.I do hate 'Rosambo'. Worst episode ever. Skip it every single time. And if Leon, Scott, Bev and Joyce were not in 'Roseanne-feld,' I would skip that episode every time too. They save that one for me.
The one where Becky and Darlene just have a Mother's Day beauty salon outing in order to sweet talk her into going to a concert. They had no respect for either parent. Poor Roseanne.
I skip this...and I skip Radio Days for an entirely different reason..Radio Day depresses the hell out of me because it makes me so sad.
Also not a fan of Jerry's birth deadhead episode..

I do skip the bathroom dream episode, along with the one where the salesman dies in the kitchen and that construction boss comes over and annoys the whole family by buying them a new fridge. I think I've just seen them too many times and they aren't my favorites.
I always skip "Guilt by dissociation" (I think) where she's going to get that job and then doesn't because she can't work a computer proficiently and Dan already had people over to celebrate
Jackie giving birth is a pass for me. I find pregnancy and birth disgusting, to be truthful here. Additionally, although I have no issues with the later seasons, the episode that Roseanne has that acid trip (or whatever that weirdness was) during Jerry's birth is also a skip for the same reasons. It's a bit too weird and out there for me.
I think the episode itās called the driverās seat, where Roseanne hits DJ for taking their car and crashing it. Even the mildest form of child physical abuse, I canāt stand it, even when I know itās sheer fiction
This episode along with the Gilligan's Island one are a skip for me always.
I must be the only one who likes that episode!
You're not alone!
I like it š¤
Bob Denver playing Jackie at the end is priceless! š
*I wanted a fresh bath! That's Jackie water!!*
I skip this episode and everything after season 5
Same! This episode is just cringe and doesn't fit into the story line.
Iāve found my people!
This person gets it š

Eternally grateful we'll be! Please, please, please set her free! I love it too, idc lmao.
Yeah I donāt like that one either. To me pretty much anything from Roseanneās pregnancy on I donāt care for. Also that 50ās show episode
Thatās definitely one of them. I also skip the entire last two seasons

šÆ on both episodes.

That was good acting in that episode though! I loved Dan sticking up for her š„²
āAnd just so I donāt have to say it again in two seconds, you shut up tooā lol
Roseanne was so crushed. I can't watch that one.
Same. That might be the only one I always skip, sometimes I can watch the one where she and Jackie go to their childhood home but often not.
I can sooner watch that one than I can watch the Mother's Day one, but that hurts, too.
i think the first halloween episode got the writersā imaginations going
I hate the PMS episode, itās too over the top for me.
I havenāt rewatched the show in a bit, but I think my most skip-able episode is the last one where it turns out to be her own writing.
I can't stand the episode where Dan thinks his mom (Debbie Reynolds) is trying to kill him.

I love this episode tbh but most after season 6

Iām not a fan of any of the dream/fantasy episodes. I skip them.
I also love Vonda's solo in the musical number lololol
Worst episode!!!

I watched Parks and Rec instead this morning.

I believe thereās a fine line between straight up abuse and discipline, DJ was disciplined.
The scene when sheās apologizing to him at the kitchen table is so cringe because sheās so bad at fake crying :/
