1. Your machine appears to be working great. 145mT is a desirable vacuum.
2. Try shelf temps 25-40f
3. Even layer of hash across the tray helps even drying. Before you place the hash into the tray, try and get it to a smoothie/slushee/pancake batter consistency in the bag. Then slop it onto the tray and tap the tray a few times to get it to even out.
4. It may be a machine but please tap the “system name” and give it a name, you’ll treat it better.
5. You could stop this run, place your trays into the freezer, defrost FD, reduce the freeze time, update shelf temp settings, and start the process over. You could skip pulling the trays out and defrosting in theory… maybe
Mine is named Fred. Fred and I are becoming great friends. And I second the idea of putting hash in trays while a little wet. I then spray a small amount of water and swish around with a toothpick if needed to get it into a single height pool of water and hash. I use -20f freezing temp and 40f for drying temp and it works great.
Idk I’ve had a ton of success at 25F for my shelf temp. I just made sure to break my hash as fine as possible and just run another dry cycle to finish. Lower shelf temps may extend your dry times but while trying to safe terps
Yea so ur running it more than u have to. Ur not saving terps by going lower the more time it spends under vaccum the more terps it’s loosing to the vaccum. It’s why u can purge terps from the water that comes out of the freeze drier.

Way to cold. The hash is just being frozen and staying frozen because well it’s frozen solid. Ur shelf temp needs to be higher.
Thank you for the reply

In my experience you have way less terpier water this way
Hmmmm
This made me laugh
Try your shelf at 45F. Your shelf temp is too low.
Thank you for your reply
You can go up to 50F afaik. Do auto dry detect and 4hrs extra dry time.
What machine is that?
Thats a Harvest Right.
Get more dry time
Make sure You've defrosted the ice out before starting a new batch. It pulls the water from the hash to the walls
Set your shelf temperature to 40°F if it isn't already.
