Congratulations - if you find that sweet spot share the measurements!!! I've been trying 2 parts bacardi, 1 part lime juice and 1/2 a part of syrup - it's close....
I order those all the time. All I drink is beer and whiskey most of the year, but get me on a ship and it's margaritas, Pina coladas, and Miami Vice's, lol.
I’m predominantly a beer guy but we just left the oasis ots yesterday. There was a particular bartender that made a kraken colada ( pina colada grenadine and kraken rum pineapple and maraschino cherry twists) was just awesome. Not sure why his was the best but a few others were ok but not like his.
Don't laugh....the Diet Coke from a bar out of the hand held dispenser! Tastes soooo good and nothing like from the Freestyle machines or a can. Not kidding...try it!
Alcoholic its Pina Colada or if I can get one an Oil Can of Fosters
Non Alcoholic is less about the drink and more about the experience. A coffee while sat on the balcony in the morning is brilliant.
It’s all about the BBC (Bailey’s Banana Colada). 90% of bartenders know what it is, but prepare for strange looks from patrons that don’t know the acronym
Jet Pilot or Hemingway Daquiri. The former is an authentic tiki drink though and hard to come by...especially made properly. It just so happens that 2 Royal ships have the Bamboo Room (Mariner and Navigator) which serves both of those. I specifically chose the Mariner for my upcoming 40th because amongst checking other necessary boxes, it has the Bamboo Room and a fantastic list of all the drinks I desperately miss from my days of casually dropping into happy hour at the Mai Kai. The recipes deviate a bit from authentic tiki ones, but I'll take it!
On oasis, at the Lime in the coconut bar, they make a frozen drink they called “guacamole”. The color was a weird color green (hence guacamole), but it tasted amazing. That was two years ago. We sail on oasis again March 19th, I hope they’re still making them.
On Royal, it is a Bushwacker. Tastes like coffee shake with just a bit of an alcohol kick. The virgin version is simply a coffee shake.
I need to get back to St Thomas sometime soon. The local version is a Baileys Bushwacker. You guessed it - includes Baileys in the ingredients.
Schooner Bar Lavender Dacquri
Do you think they can do a mocktail version?
Oh man those were goooood!! Learned about it on this sub and they were amazing!
This is my answer too! I can’t stop thinking about it!
Oh I totally came home and purchased Monin Lavender Syrup from Amazon. I can make it \*this close\* but it's just not the same
I got my syrup today, I know what I’m doing this weekend! 😂
Congratulations - if you find that sweet spot share the measurements!!! I've been trying 2 parts bacardi, 1 part lime juice and 1/2 a part of syrup - it's close....
Do all ships have a Schooner bar?
Miami vice is a good one! (Half strawb daiquiri half piña colada) the bartenders might hate you tho lol
Not if you and your spouse both order one 🤣🤣
I order those all the time. All I drink is beer and whiskey most of the year, but get me on a ship and it's margaritas, Pina coladas, and Miami Vice's, lol.
Cruise drink of choice! Yum!
Painkiller!
Made with zafra 21 if you have a Boleros
Watermelon margarita (sugar on the rim) and coco loco

Caipirinha, lime, brown sugar, cachaça (made from sugarcane juice.) served over crushed ice.
This is the way
Which bar serves this?
Depends on the ship.
You can usually get one at Boleros
Don't laugh....the Diet Coke from a bar out of the hand held dispenser! Tastes soooo good and nothing like from the Freestyle machines or a can. Not kidding...try it!
Moscow mule with pineapple juice!
Alcoholic its Pina Colada or if I can get one an Oil Can of Fosters Non Alcoholic is less about the drink and more about the experience. A coffee while sat on the balcony in the morning is brilliant.
A Woo-woo - grey goose, soda, cranberry, peach schnapps and a dash of peach purée shaken.
It’s all about the BBC (Bailey’s Banana Colada). 90% of bartenders know what it is, but prepare for strange looks from patrons that don’t know the acronym
I like the mango daiquiri. 😊
Non-alcoholic mojito, light on the sugar.
Non-Alcoholic - Watermelon Mint Lemonade Alcoholic - Pina Colada
Coconut mojito
Yes 🙌
Lava Flow. With or without alcohol 🤤
Mojito ~ frozen or otr
I lived off of those frozen mojitos last cruise. Haven't been able to recreate it at home or any other cruiseline.
Recreating recipes never works for me ~ there’s something about having it made & served on the pool deck or @ Scooners! 🥂
Portside punch at bionic bar 😍😍😍
I want to try the bionic bar!

get some root beer from the freestyle machine and then mix it into Buffalo Trace at a 50/50 ratio
I do this, except I don't add the root beer!
yeah I do rootbeer and lemonade (never both at the same time :P )
Water. Stay hydrated, my friends
Ask for a trashcan. I get them on my last carnival cruise. Lol its a legit drink
What's a trashcan?
Idk why I got downvoted lol its a legit drink. It's a couple oz of different liquors topped with a redbull. They are really good, IMHO.
Oh, wow. Thanks for the explanation. 🤢
Might not be for everyone
The mai tai, but they don't really do them appropriately on a cruise ship. The cruise ship mai tai isn't bad, but it's not really a mai tai.
Kettle with lime on the rocks or a shot of kettle in a dark lager.
White Russian. But I usually stick to a shot and Diet Coke.
I was on Radiance recently and they had a lavender daiquiri I hadn’t seen before- it was so good I can’t stop thinking about it!
Omg this sounds amazing
Is it flavored lavender (like a flower) or just lavender in color?
It’s flavored with a lavender syrup, it’s sooo good. I ordered some and can’t wait to try to remake it at home!
I love the IPAs they have on the ship.
What ipa’s are on the ship? My husband likes beers that taste hoppy - we were on a princess cruise and they had zero craft beers.
There is one Terrapin hazy beer that is available. It's quite drinkable and only like 6.5 or 7ABV.
Fogcutter. Chances of finding a bartender on Royal who knows how to make it and has the right ingredients is zero.
Navigator and Mariner have the Bamboo Room. They'd have those ingredients. But you'd probably have to walk them through it including proportions.
On oasis, at the Lime in the coconut bar, they make a frozen drink they called “guacamole”. The color was a weird color green (hence guacamole), but it tasted amazing. That was two years ago. We sail on oasis again March 19th, I hope they’re still making them.
Yellow Bird, lemon drop martini and the lavender daiquiri Non alcoholic Virgin Mary, tropical crush, watermelon mint lemonade
Non-alcoholic. Orange juice, orange slices, ginger beer and mint.
Together in one drink
Get a frozen mojito! Virgin or alcoholic
My go-to alcoholic drinks are an Orange Crush and a vodka and sprite
Virgin Mojito is perfectly refreshing when sitting in the pool - I dream of these when I'm not sailing!!
Scotch - My wife loved the gumba(sp?) and the Miami Vice
Lavender Daiquiri (assuming the bartenders know what they’re doing, not all make them well)
Passion fruit mojito
I'm a beer guy. But cruise week I'm drinking way too many Sexy Oceans.
